18Hierauf kehrte Mose zu seinem Schwiegervater Jethro zurück und sagte zu ihm: »Ich möchte doch einmal zu meinen Angehörigen nach Ägypten zurückkehren, um zu sehen, ob sie noch am Leben sind.« Jethro antwortete ihm: »Ziehe hin in Frieden!«

18Así se fué Moisés, y volviendo á su suegro Jethro, díjole: Iré ahora, y volveré á mis hermanos que están en Egipto, para ver si aun viven. Y Jethro dijo á Moisés: Ve en paz.

18And Moses went and returned to Jethro his father in law, and said unto him, Let me go, I pray thee, and return unto my brethren which are in Egypt, and see whether they be yet alive. And Jethro said to Moses, Go in peace.
