Éxodo 40

Entonces habló el Señor a Moisés, diciendo:

Y JEHOVÁ habló á Moisés, diciendo:

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

En el primer mes, el día primero erigirás el pabellón o el Tabernáculo del Testimonio,

En el primer día del mes primero harás levantar el tabernáculo, el tabernáculo del testimonio:

On the first day of the first month shalt thou set up the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.

“On the first day of the first month you shall raise up the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting.

y pondrás en él el arca , y extenderás el velo delante de ella;

Y pondrás en él el arca del testimonio, y la cubrirás con el velo:

And thou shalt put therein the ark of the testimony, and cover the ark with the vail.

You shall put the ark of the covenant in it, and you shall screen the ark with the veil.

y entrada dentro de la mesa, pondrás encima, por su orden, las cosas que se habían dispuesto. Colocarás después el candelero con sus lámparas,

Y meterás la mesa, y la pondrás en orden: meterás también el candelero, y encenderás sus lámparas:

And thou shalt bring in the table, and set in order the things that are to be set in order upon it; and thou shalt bring in the candlestick, and light the lamps thereof.

You shall bring in the table, and set in order the things that are on it. You shall bring in the lamp stand, and light its lamps.

y el altar de oro, en que ha de quemarse el incienso delante del arca del Testamento. A la entrada del Tabernáculo pondrás un velo,

Y pondrás el altar de oro para el perfume delante del arca del testimonio, y pondrás el pabellón delante de la puerta del tabernáculo.

And thou shalt set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the testimony, and put the hanging of the door to the tabernacle.

You shall set the golden altar for incense before the ark of the covenant, and put the screen of the door to the tabernacle.

y adelante de éste colocarás el altar de los holocaustos;

Después pondrás el altar del holocausto delante de la puerta del tabernáculo, del tabernáculo del testimonio.

And thou shalt set the altar of the burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.

“You shall set the altar of burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting.

la concha del lavatorio, la cual llenarás de agua, estará entre el altar y el Tabernáculo.

Luego pondrás la fuente entre el tabernáculo del testimonio y el altar; y pondrás agua en ella.

And thou shalt set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and shalt put water therein.

You shall set the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and shall put water therein.

Y pondrás cortinas alrededor del atrio y su entrada.

Finalmente pondrás el atrio en derredor, y el pabellón de la puerta del atrio.

And thou shalt set up the court round about, and hang up the hanging at the court gate.

You shall set up the court around it, and hang up the screen of the gate of the court.

Y tomando el óleo de santificación ungirás el Tabenáculo y las cosas de su uso, para que sean santificadas;

Y tomarás el aceite de la unción, y ungirás el tabernáculo, y todo lo que está en él; y le santificarás con todos sus vasos, y será santo.

And thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is therein, and shalt hallow it, and all the vessels thereof: and it shall be holy.

“You shall take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle and all that is in it, and shall make it holy, and all its furniture, and it will be holy.

El altar de los holocaustos y todos sus instrumentos;

Ungirás también el altar del holocausto y todos sus vasos: y santificarás el altar, y será un altar santísimo.

And thou shalt anoint the altar of the burnt offering, and all his vessels, and sanctify the altar: and it shall be an altar most holy.

You shall anoint the altar of burnt offering, with all its vessels, and sanctify the altar, and the altar will be most holy.

la concha con su basa: todo lo has de consagrar con el óleo destinado a la santificación o consagración, a fin de que todas sean cosas santísimas.

Asimismo ungirás la fuente y su basa, y la santificarás.

And thou shalt anoint the laver and his foot, and sanctify it.

You shall anoint the basin and its base, and sanctify it.

Harás venir después a Aarón y a sus hijos a las puertas del Tabernáculo del Testimonio; y después que estén lavados con el agua,

Y harás llegar á Aarón y á sus hijos á la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio, y los lavarás con agua.

And thou shalt bring Aaron and his sons unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and wash them with water.

“You shall bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the Tent of Meeting, and shall wash them with water.

los revestirás de los ornamentos sagrados para que sean mis ministros; y será su unción para sacerdocio sempiterno.

Y harás vestir á Aarón las vestiduras sagradas, y lo ungirás, y lo consagrarás, para que sea mi sacerdote.

And thou shalt put upon Aaron the holy garments, and anoint him, and sanctify him; that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office.

You shall put on Aaron the holy garments; and you shall anoint him, and sanctify him, that he may minister to me in the priest’s office.

—

Después harás llegar sus hijos, y les vestirás las túnicas:

And thou shalt bring his sons, and clothe them with coats:

You shall bring his sons, and put tunics on them.

—

Y los ungirás como ungiste á su padre, y serán mis sacerdotes: y será que su unción les servirá por sacerdocio perpetuo por sus generaciones.

And thou shalt anoint them, as thou didst anoint their father, that they may minister unto me in the priest’s office: for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.

You shall anoint them, as you anointed their father, that they may minister to me in the priest’s office. Their anointing shall be to them for an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.”

E hizo Moisés todo cuanto el Señor le había mandado.

Y Moisés hizo conforme á todo lo que Jehová le mandó; así lo hizo.

Thus did Moses: according to all that the LORD commanded him, so did he.

Moses did so. According to all that the LORD commanded him, so he did.

Y así el primer mes del año segundo, en el día primero, fue erigido el Tabernáculo.

Y así en el día primero del primer mes, en el segundo año, el tabernáculo fué erigido.

And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, that the tabernacle was reared up.

In the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, the tabernacle was raised up.

El cual alzó Moisés, poniendo los tablones y las basas y travesaños, y asentando las columnas,

Y Moisés hizo levantar el tabernáculo, y asentó sus basas, y colocó sus tablas, y puso sus barras, é hizo alzar sus columnas.

And Moses reared up the tabernacle, and fastened his sockets, and set up the boards thereof, and put in the bars thereof, and reared up his pillars.

Moses raised up the tabernacle, and laid its sockets, and set up its boards, and put in its bars, and raised up its pillars.

y extendiendo la cubierta sobre el Tabernáculo, sobrepuestas las otras cubiertas, como el Señor tenía ordenado.

Y extendió la tienda sobre el tabernáculo, y puso la sobrecubierta encima del mismo; como Jehová había mandado á Moisés.

And he spread abroad the tent over the tabernacle, and put the covering of the tent above upon it; as the LORD commanded Moses.

He spread the covering over the tent, and put the roof of the tabernacle above on it, as the LORD commanded Moses.

Puso también el Testimonio o las tablas de la Ley en el arca , cubriéndola con el propiciatorio, y metiendo por debajo las varas.

Y tomó y puso el testimonio dentro del arca, y colocó las varas en el arca, y encima la cubierta sobre el arca:

And he took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the staves on the ark, and put the mercy seat above upon the ark:

He took and put the covenant into the ark, and set the poles on the ark, and put the mercy seat above on the ark.

Y colocada el arca dentro del Tabernáculo, colgó delante de ella el velo, en cumplimiento del precepto del Señor.

Y metió el arca en el tabernáculo, y puso el velo de la tienda, y cubrió el arca del testimonio; como Jehová había mandado á Moisés.

And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the vail of the covering, and covered the ark of the testimony; as the LORD commanded Moses.

He brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the veil of the screen, and screened the ark of the covenant, as the LORD commanded Moses.

Fuera del velo puso la mesa en el Tabernáculo del Testimonio, a la parte septentrional,

Y puso la mesa en el tabernáculo del testimonio, al lado septentrional del pabellón, fuera del velo:

And he put the table in the tent of the congregation, upon the side of the tabernacle northward, without the vail.

He put the table in the Tent of Meeting, on the north side of the tabernacle, outside of the veil.

puestos por orden delante del Señor los panes de la proposición, como tenía el Señor ordenado a Moisés.

Y sobre ella puso por orden los panes delante de Jehová, como Jehová había mandado á Moisés.

And he set the bread in order upon it before the LORD; as the LORD had commanded Moses.

He set the bread in order on it before the LORD, as the LORD commanded Moses.

Asimismo puso el candelero en el Tabernáculo del Testimonio, enfrente de la mesa, a la parte meridional,

Y puso el candelero en el tabernáculo del testimonio, enfrente de la mesa, al lado meridional del pabellón.

And he put the candlestick in the tent of the congregation, over against the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward.

He put the lamp stand in the Tent of Meeting, opposite the table, on the south side of the tabernacle.

colocadas por su orden las lámparas, conforme al mandato del Señor.

Y encendió las lámparas delante de Jehová; como Jehová había mandado á Moisés.

And he lighted the lamps before the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses.

He lit the lamps before the LORD, as the LORD commanded Moses.

El altar de oro le puso también dentro del Tabernáculo del Testimonio, delante del velo;

Puso también el altar de oro en el tabernáculo del testimonio, delante del velo:

And he put the golden altar in the tent of the congregation before the vail:

He put the golden altar in the Tent of Meeting before the veil;

y quemó sobre él el incienso de aromas, según tenía el Señor mandado a Moisés.

Y encendió sobre él el perfume aromático; como Jehová había mandado á Moisés.

And he burnt sweet incense thereon; as the LORD commanded Moses.

and he burned incense of sweet spices on it, as the LORD commanded Moses.

Puso igualmente el velo a la entrada del Tabernáculo del Testimonio;

Puso asimismo la cortina de la puerta del tabernáculo.

And he set up the hanging at the door of the tabernacle.

He put up the screen of the door to the tabernacle.

en cuyo atrio sentó el altar del holocausto, donde ofreció holocausto y sacrificios, según la disposición del Señor.

Y colocó el altar del holocausto á la puerta del tabernáculo, del tabernáculo del testimonio; y ofreció sobre él holocausto y presente; como Jehová había mandado á Moisés.

And he put the altar of burnt offering by the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation, and offered upon it the burnt offering and the meat offering; as the LORD commanded Moses.

He set the altar of burnt offering at the door of the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting, and offered on it the burnt offering and the meal offering, as the LORD commanded Moses.

Colocó también la concha del lavatorio entre el Tabernáculo del Testimonio y el altar del holocausto, y la llenó de agua.

Y puso la fuente entre el tabernáculo del testimonio y el altar; y puso en ella agua para lavar.

And he set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and put water there, to wash withal.

He set the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and put water therein, with which to wash.

Y Moisés y Aarón y los hijos de éste, lavaron sus manos y pies,

Y Moisés y Aarón y sus hijos lavaban en ella sus manos y sus pies.

And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet thereat:

Moses, Aaron, and his sons washed their hands and their feet there.

al entrar en el Tabernáculo de la Alianza y llegarse al altar, conforme lo había mandado el Señor a Moisés.

Cuando entraban en el tabernáculo del testimonio, y cuando se llegaban al altar, se lavaban; como Jehová había mandado á Moisés.

When they went into the tent of the congregation, and when they came near unto the altar, they washed; as the LORD commanded Moses.

When they went into the Tent of Meeting, and when they came near to the altar, they washed, as the LORD commanded Moses.

Finalmente, alrededor del Tabernáculo y del altar erigió el atrio, a cuya entrada puso un velo cortinón. Concluidas todas estas cosas,

Finalmente erigió el atrio en derredor del tabernáculo y del altar, y puso la cortina de la puerta del atrio. Y así acabó Moisés la obra.

And he reared up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the hanging of the court gate. So Moses finished the work.

He raised up the court around the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the screen of the gate of the court. So Moses finished the work.

una nube cubrió el Tabernáculo del Testimonio, y quedó todo lleno de la gloria del Señor.

Entonces una nube cubrió el tabernáculo del testimonio, y la gloria de Jehová hinchió el tabernáculo.

Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

Then the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and the LORD’s glory filled the tabernacle.

Ni podía Moisés entrar en el Tabernáculo de la Alianza, cubriendo como cubría la nube todas las cosas, y brillando por todas partes la majestad del Señor: todo lo cubría la nube.

Y no podía Moisés entrar en el tabernáculo del testimonio, porque la nube estaba sobre él, y la gloria de Jehová lo tenía lleno.

And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

Moses wasn’t able to enter into the Tent of Meeting, because the cloud stayed on it, and the LORD’s glory filled the tabernacle.

Y siempre y cuando la nube se retiraba del Tabernáculo, marchaban los hijos de Israel por escuadrones o bandas.

Y cuando la nube se alzaba del tabernáculo, los hijos de Israel se movían en todas sus jornadas:

And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys:

When the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward, throughout all their journeys;

Si la nube se quedaba encima parada, hacían alto en aquel mismo sitio.

Pero si la nube no se alzaba, no se partían hasta el día en que ella se alzaba.

But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up.

but if the cloud wasn’t taken up, then they didn’t travel until the day that it was taken up.

Porque la nube del Señor entre día cubría el Tabernáculo, y por la noche aparecía allí una llama, a vista de todo el pueblo de Israel en todas sus estancias.

Porque la nube de Jehová estaba de día sobre el tabernáculo, y el fuego estaba de noche en él, á vista de toda la casa de Israel, en todas sus jornadas.

For the cloud of the LORD was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.

For the cloud of the LORD was on the tabernacle by day, and there was fire in the cloud by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.
