5Pues Yahvé había dicho a Moisés: “Di a los hijos de Israel: ‘Vosotros sois un pueblo de dura cerviz. Si yo subiera en medio de vosotros por un solo momento, os consumiría. Por tanto, quitaos ahora vuestros atavíos, para que yo sepa qué hacer con vosotros’”.

5Pues Jehová dijo á Moisés: Di á los hijos de Israel: Vosotros sois pueblo de dura cerviz: en un momento subiré en medio de ti, y te consumiré: quítate pues ahora tus atavíos, que yo sabré lo que te tengo de hacer.

5For the LORD had said unto Moses, Say unto the children of Israel, Ye are a stiffnecked people: I will come up into the midst of thee in a moment, and consume thee: therefore now put off thy ornaments from thee, that I may know what to do unto thee.
World English Bible
5The LORD had said to Moses, “Tell the children of Israel, ‘You are a stiff-necked people. If I were to go up among you for one moment, I would consume you. Therefore now take off your jewelry from you, that I may know what to do to you.’”
