Éxodo 32

Quando o povo viu que Moisés demorava para descer da montanha, eles se ajuntaram em volta de Arão e lhe disseram: "Vem, faze-nos um ídolo para que vá a nossa frente. Quanto a esse Moisés, o homem que nos tirou da terra do Egito, não sabemos o que aconteceu com ele".

MAS viendo el pueblo que Moisés tardaba en descender del monte, allegóse entonces á Aarón, y dijéronle: Levántate, haznos dioses que vayan delante de nosotros; porque á este Moisés, aquel varón que nos sacó de la tierra de Egipto, no sabemos qué le haya acontecido.

And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.

When the people saw that Moses delayed coming down from the mountain, the people gathered themselves together to Aaron, and said to him, “Come, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we don’t know what has become of him.”

Então Arão lhes disse: "Tirai os brincos de ouro das orelhas de vossas esposas e das orelhas dos vossos filhos e filhas, e trazei-os a mim".

Y Aarón les dijo: Apartad los zarcillos de oro que están en las orejas de vuestras mujeres, y de vuestros hijos, y de vuestras hijas, y traédmelos.

And Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden earrings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto me.

Aaron said to them, “Take off the golden rings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them to me.”

E todo o povo retirou os brincos de ouro que estavam em suas orelhas e os levou a Arão.

Entonces todo el pueblo apartó los zarcillos de oro que tenían en sus orejas, y trajéronlos á Aarón:

And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron.

All the people took off the golden rings which were in their ears, and brought them to Aaron.

Ele recebeu o ouro do povo, e o modelou em forma de um bezerro. Então o povo disse: "Israel, este é o vosso deus que vos tirou da terra do Egito."'

El cual los tomó de las manos de ellos, y formólo con buril, é hizo de ello un becerro de fundición. Entonces dijeron: Israel, estos son tus dioses, que te sacaron de la tierra de Egipto.

And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

He received what they handed him, fashioned it with an engraving tool, and made it a molded calf. Then they said, “These are your gods, Israel, which brought you up out of the land of Egypt.”

Quando Arão viu isso, ele construiu um altar diante do bezerro e proclamou, dizendo: "Amanhã haverá um festival em honra a Yahweh".

Y viendo esto Aarón, edificó un altar delante del becerro; y pregonó Aarón, y dijo: Mañana será fiesta á Jehová.

And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, To morrow is a feast to the LORD.

When Aaron saw this, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made a proclamation, and said, “Tomorrow shall be a feast to the LORD.”

No dia seguinte, o povo se levantou cedo e ofereceu ofertas queimadas e trouxeram ofertas pacificas. Então se sentaram para comer e beber, e depois se levantaram para se divertir.

Y el día siguiente madrugaron, y ofrecieron holocaustos, y presentaron pacíficos: y sentóse el pueblo á comer y á beber, y levantáronse á regocijarse.

And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play.

Então Yahweh disse a Moisés: "Vá imediatamente, pois o teu povo, os quais tiraste da terra do Egito, tem se corrompido.

Entonces Jehová dijo á Moisés: Anda, desciende, porque tu pueblo que sacaste de tierra de Egipto se ha corrompido:

And the LORD said unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves:

The LORD spoke to Moses, “Go, get down; for your people, whom you brought up out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves!

Eles rapidamente se desviaram do caminho que Eu os ordenei. Eles moldaram um bezerro para eles e o adoraram e fizeram sacrificios para ele. Eles têm dito: 'Israel, esse é o seu deus que vos tirou da terra do Egito'".

Presto se han apartado del camino que yo les mandé, y se han hecho un becerro de fundición, y lo han adorado, y han sacrificado á él, y han dicho: Israel, estos son tus dioses, que te sacaron de la tierra de Egipto.

They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

E disse Yahweh a Moisés: "Eu tenho visto esse povo. Vê, eles são um povo teimoso.

Dijo más Jehová á Moisés: Yo he visto á este pueblo, que por cierto es pueblo de dura cerviz:

And the LORD said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people:

The LORD said to Moses, “I have seen these people, and behold, they are a stiff-necked people.

Agora, pois, não tentes me impedir. Minha furia irá queimar contra eles, então EU os destruirei. Feito isso irei fazer uma grande nação por meio de ti.

Ahora pues, déjame que se encienda mi furor en ellos, y los consuma: y á ti yo te pondré sobre gran gente.

Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation.

Now therefore leave me alone, that my wrath may burn hot against them, and that I may consume them; and I will make of you a great nation.”

Porém Moisés tentou acalmar Yahweh seu Deus. Ele disse: "Yahweh por que a tua ira se acende contra o teu povo, os quais Tu trouxeste da terra do Egito com grande poder e mão poderosa?

Entonces Moisés oró á la faz de Jehová su Dios, y dijo: Oh Jehová, ¿por qué se encenderá tu furor en tu pueblo, que tú sacaste de la tierra de Egipto con gran fortaleza, y con mano fuerte?

And Moses besought the LORD his God, and said, LORD, why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy people, which thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand?

Moses begged the LORD his God, and said, “LORD, why does your wrath burn hot against your people, that you have brought out of the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand?

Por que os egípcios deveriam dizer: 'Ele os livrou do mal para matá-los nas montanhas e destruí-los da face da terra'? Afasta-te desta fúria ardente e retira essa punição de sobre o Teu povo.

¿Por qué han de hablar los Egipcios, diciendo: Para mal los sacó, para matarlos en los montes, y para raerlos de sobre la haz de la tierra? Vuélvete del furor de tu ira, y arrepiéntete del mal de tu pueblo.

Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, and say, For mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from thy fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against thy people.

Why should the Egyptians talk, saying, ‘He brought them out for evil, to kill them in the mountains, and to consume them from the surface of the earth’? Turn from your fierce wrath, and turn away from this evil against your people.

Lembra-te de Abraão, de Isaque e de Israel, Teus servos, aos quais Tu juraste, por ti mesmo, dizendo-lhes: "Multiplicarei teus descendentes como as estrelas nos céus, e lhes darei toda esta terra a qual tenho falado. Eles a herdarão para sempre'".

Acuérdate de Abraham, de Isaac, y de Israel, tus siervos, á los cuales has jurado por ti mismo, y dícholes: Yo multiplicaré vuestra simiente como las estrellas del cielo; y daré á vuestra simiente toda esta tierra que he dicho, y la tomarán por heredad para siempre.

Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy servants, to whom thou swarest by thine own self, and saidst unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they shall inherit it for ever.

Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, your servants, to whom you swore by your own self, and said to them, ‘I will multiply your offspring as the stars of the sky, and all this land that I have spoken of I will give to your offspring, and they shall inherit it forever.’”

Então Yahweh desistiu da punição que Ele lhe havia dito que traria contra o Seu povo.

Entonces Jehová se arrepintió del mal que dijo que había de hacer á su pueblo.

And the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.

So the LORD turned away from the evil which he said he would do to his people.

Então Moisés se virou e desceu a montanha, carragando as duas tábuas dos Decretos da Aliança em suas mãos. As tábuas estavam escritas em ambos os lados, frente e verso.

Y volvióse Moisés, y descendió del monte trayendo en su mano las dos tablas del testimonio, las tablas escritas por ambos lados; de una parte y de otra estaban escritas.

And Moses turned, and went down from the mount, and the two tables of the testimony were in his hand: the tables were written on both their sides; on the one side and on the other were they written.

Moses turned, and went down from the mountain, with the two tablets of the covenant in his hand; tablets that were written on both their sides. They were written on one side and on the other.

As tábuas e os seus escritos eram obras do próprio Deus, esculpidos por Ele mesmo.

Y las tablas eran obra de Dios, y la escritura era escritura de Dios grabada sobre las tablas.

And the tables were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, graven upon the tables.

The tablets were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, engraved on the tablets.

Quando Josué ouviu o barulho do povo que gritava, ele disse a Moisés: "Há gritos de combate no acampamento".

Y oyendo Josué el clamor del pueblo que gritaba, dijo á Moisés: Alarido de pelea hay en el campo.

And when Joshua heard the noise of the people as they shouted, he said unto Moses, There is a noise of war in the camp.

When Joshua heard the noise of the people as they shouted, he said to Moses, “There is the noise of war in the camp.”

Mas disse-lhe Moisés: "Isso não é grito dos vitoriosos, e nem barulho de pessoas derrotadas, o que escuto é o som de pessoas cantando".

Y él respondió: No es eco de algazara de fuertes, ni eco de alaridos de flacos: algazara de cantar oigo yo.

And he said, It is not the voice of them that shout for mastery, neither is it the voice of them that cry for being overcome: but the noise of them that sing do I hear.

He said, “It isn’t the voice of those who shout for victory. It is not the voice of those who cry for being overcome; but the noise of those who sing that I hear.”

Quando Moisés chegou ao acampamento, ele viu o bezerro e as pessoas dançando. Logo enfureceu-se. Ele lançou as tábuas de suas mãos e as quebrou ao pé da montanha.

Y aconteció, que como llegó él al campo, y vió el becerro y las danzas, enardeciósele la ira á Moisés, y arrojó las tablas de sus manos, y quebrólas al pie del monte.

And it came to pass, as soon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing: and Moses’ anger waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount.

As soon as he came near to the camp, he saw the calf and the dancing. Then Moses’ anger grew hot, and he threw the tablets out of his hands, and broke them beneath the mountain.

Ele pegou o bezerro que as pessoas haviam feito, queimou-o, triturou-o até virar pó, e o despejou na água. Então ele fez com que o povo de Israel a bebesse.

Y tomó el becerro que habían hecho, y quemólo en el fuego, y moliólo hasta reducirlo á polvo, que esparció sobre las aguas, y diólo á beber á los hijos de Israel.

And he took the calf which they had made, and burnt it in the fire, and ground it to powder, and strawed it upon the water, and made the children of Israel drink of it.

Então Moisés disse a Arão: "O que esse povo te fez, para que trouxesses tamanho pecado sobre ele"?

Y dijo Moisés á Aarón: ¿Qué te ha hecho este pueblo, que has traído sobre él tan gran pecado?

And Moses said unto Aaron, What did this people unto thee, that thou hast brought so great a sin upon them?

Moses said to Aaron, “What did these people do to you, that you have brought a great sin on them?”

Disse-lhe Arão: "Não se acenda a vossa ira, meu senhor. Tu conheces esse povo, e sabes o quanto eles empenhados em fazer o mal.

Y respondió Aarón: No se enoje mi señor; tú conoces el pueblo, que es inclinado á mal.

And Aaron said, Let not the anger of my lord wax hot: thou knowest the people, that they are set on mischief.

Aaron said, “Don’t let the anger of my lord grow hot. You know the people, that they are set on evil.

Eles me disseram: 'Faze-nos um deus que vá a nossa frente. Quanto a Moisés, o homem que nos trouxe da terra do Egito, nós não sabemos o que houve com ele'

Porque me dijeron: Haznos dioses que vayan delante de nosotros, que á este Moisés, el varón que nos sacó de tierra de Egipto, no sabemos qué le ha acontecido.

For they said unto me, Make us gods, which shall go before us: for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.

For they said to me, ‘Make us gods, which shall go before us. As for this Moses, the man who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we don’t know what has become of him.’

Então eu lhes disse: 'Aqueles que têm ouro, tirem-no. Eles me deram, e eu o lancei ao fogo, e saiu esse bezerro'".

Y yo les respondí: ¿Quién tiene oro? apartadlo. Y diéronmelo, y echélo en el fuego, y salió este becerro.

And I said unto them, Whosoever hath any gold, let them break it off. So they gave it me: then I cast it into the fire, and there came out this calf.

I said to them, ‘Whoever has any gold, let them take it off.’ So they gave it to me; and I threw it into the fire, and out came this calf.”

Moisés viu que o povo estava agindo de forma estranha, pois Arão os deixou perder o controle, expondo-os à zombaria dos seus inimigos.

Y viendo Moisés que el pueblo estaba despojado, porque Aarón lo había despojado para vergüenza entre sus enemigos,

And when Moses saw that the people were naked; (for Aaron had made them naked unto their shame among their enemies:)

When Moses saw that the people were out of control, (for Aaron had let them lose control, causing derision among their enemies),

Então Moisés ficou de pé, na entrada do acampamento, e disse: "Quem estiver do lado de Yahweh, venha até mim". Todos os levitas se ajuntaram em volta dele.

Púsose Moisés á la puerta del real, y dijo: ¿Quién es de Jehová? júntese conmigo. Y juntáronse con él todos los hijos de Leví.

Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the LORD’s side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him.

then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, “Whoever is on the LORD’s side, come to me!” All the sons of Levi gathered themselves together to him.

Ele lhes disse: "Yahweh, o Deus de Israel, diz isto: 'Que cada homem prepare sua espada ao lado indo e vindo, de porta em porta, por todo o acampamento, e mate seus irmãos, seus companheiros e vizinhos'".

Y él les dijo: Así ha dicho Jehová, el Dios de Israel: Poned cada uno su espada sobre su muslo: pasad y volved de puerta á puerta por el campo, y matad cada uno á su hermano, y á su amigo, y á su pariente.

And he said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour.

He said to them, “The LORD, the God of Israel, says, ‘Every man put his sword on his thigh, and go back and forth from gate to gate throughout the camp, and every man kill his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbor.’”

Os levitas fizeram conforme Moisés lhes havia ordenado. Naquele dia morreram cerca de três mil homens do povo.

Y los hijos de Leví lo hicieron conforme al dicho de Moisés: y cayeron del pueblo en aquel día como tres mil hombres.

And the children of Levi did according to the word of Moses: and there fell of the people that day about three thousand men.

The sons of Levi did according to the word of Moses. About three thousand men fell of the people that day.

Moisés disse aos levitas: "Vós fostes postos a serviço de Yahweh hoje, pois cada um de vós agiu contra seu irmão, portanto Yahweh vos deu uma benção hoje".

Entonces Moisés dijo: Hoy os habéis consagrado á Jehová, porque cada uno se ha consagrado en su hijo, y en su hermano, para que dé él hoy bendición sobre vosotros.

For Moses had said, Consecrate yourselves to day to the LORD, even every man upon his son, and upon his brother; that he may bestow upon you a blessing this day.

Moses said, “Consecrate yourselves today to the LORD, for every man was against his son and against his brother, that he may give you a blessing today.”

No dia seguinte, Moisés disse ao povo: "Cometestes um grande pecado. Agora eu subirei a Yahweh. Talvez eu possa fazer expiação pelo vosso pecado.

Y aconteció que el día siguiente dijo Moisés al pueblo: Vosotros habéis cometido un gran pecado: mas yo subiré ahora á Jehová; quizá le aplacaré acerca de vuestro pecado.

And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses said unto the people, Ye have sinned a great sin: and now I will go up unto the LORD; peradventure I shall make an atonement for your sin.

On the next day, Moses said to the people, “You have sinned a great sin. Now I will go up to the LORD. Perhaps I shall make atonement for your sin.”

Moisés voltou a Yahweh e disse: "Oh, esse povo cometeu um grande pecado e fizeram para si um ídolo de ouro.

Entonces volvió Moisés á Jehová, y dijo: Ruégote, pues este pueblo ha cometido un gran pecado, porque se hicieron dioses de oro,

And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, Oh, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made them gods of gold.

Moses returned to the LORD, and said, “Oh, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made themselves gods of gold.

Mas agora, perdoa-lhes o pecado; se não o fizeres, apaga-me do livro que escreveste".

Que perdones ahora su pecado, y si no, ráeme ahora de tu libro que has escrito.

Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin—; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written.

Yet now, if you will, forgive their sin—and if not, please blot me out of your book which you have written.”

Yahweh disse a Moisés: "Aquele que tiver pecado contra mim, essa pessoa eu apagarei do meu livro.

Y Jehová respondió á Moisés: Al que pecare contra mí, á éste raeré yo de mi libro.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.

The LORD said to Moses, “Whoever has sinned against me, I will blot him out of my book.

Agora vai e conduz este povo para o lugar sobre o qual eu te falei. Vê, o Meu anjo irá na tua frente. Porém no dia em que Eu os castigar, Eu os punirei por seu pecado".

Ve pues ahora, lleva á este pueblo donde te he dicho: he aquí mi ángel irá delante de ti; que en el día de mi visitación yo visitaré en ellos su pecado.

Therefore now go, lead the people unto the place of which I have spoken unto thee: behold, mine Angel shall go before thee: nevertheless in the day when I visit I will visit their sin upon them.

Now go, lead the people to the place of which I have spoken to you. Behold, my angel shall go before you. Nevertheless, in the day when I punish, I will punish them for their sin.”

Então Yahweh enviou a praga para o povo, por fezer o bezerro, aquele que Arão havia fabricado.

Y Jehová hirió al pueblo, porque habían hecho el becerro que formó Aarón.

And the LORD plagued the people, because they made the calf, which Aaron made.

The LORD struck the people, because of what they did with the calf, which Aaron made.
