4Alors Aaron les ayant reçus de leurs mains, les jeta au moule dans l'atelier et il en fit un veau de fonte ; alors ils dirent : Israël, voilà ton Dieu qui t'a tiré du pays d'Egypte.

4And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

4He received what they handed him, fashioned it with an engraving tool, and made it a molded calf. Then they said, “These are your gods, Israel, which brought you up out of the land of Egypt.”
