12Pourquoi les Égyptiens diraient-ils : C'est pour leur perte qu'il les a fait partir, afin de les tuer dans les montagnes et de les exterminer de la face de la terre ? Reviens de ton courroux qui s'enflamme, et repens-toi de la menace que tu as faite à ton peuple.

12¿Por qué han de hablar los Egipcios, diciendo: Para mal los sacó, para matarlos en los montes, y para raerlos de sobre la haz de la tierra? Vuélvete del furor de tu ira, y arrepiéntete del mal de tu pueblo.

12Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, and say, For mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from thy fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against thy people.

12Why should the Egyptians talk, saying, ‘He brought them out for evil, to kill them in the mountains, and to consume them from the surface of the earth’? Turn from your fierce wrath, and turn away from this evil against your people.
