29Si ce boeuf était sujet à heurter, déjà antérieurement, que son maître, averti, ne l'ait pas surveillé et qu'il ait fait périr un homme ou une femme, le boeuf sera lapidé et même son maître mérite la mort.

29But if the ox were wont to push with his horn in time past, and it hath been testified to his owner, and he hath not kept him in, but that he hath killed a man or a woman; the ox shall be stoned, and his owner also shall be put to death.

29But if the bull had a habit of goring in the past, and this has been testified to its owner, and he has not kept it in, but it has killed a man or a woman, the bull shall be stoned, and its owner shall also be put to death.
