Und wenn ein Mann schlägt seinen Slaven oder Sklavin (Magd) mit dem Stab (Stock) und er stirbt unter seiner Hand, muss er gerächt werden

Y si alguno hiriere á su siervo ó á su sierva con palo, y muriere bajo de su mano, será castigado:

And if a man smite his servant, or his maid, with a rod, and he die under his hand; he shall be surely punished.

“If a man strikes his servant or his maid with a rod, and he dies under his hand, the man shall surely be punished.
