So blieb denn das Volk in der Ferne stehen; Mose aber trat an das dunkle Gewölk heran, in welchem Gott war.

Entonces el pueblo se puso de lejos, y Moisés se llegó á la osbcuridad, en la cual estaba Dios.

And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God was.

The people stayed at a distance, and Moses came near to the thick darkness where God was.
