und sagten zu Mose: »Rede du mit uns, dann wollen wir zuhören; Gott aber möge nicht mit uns reden, sonst müssen wir sterben!«

Y dijeron á Moisés: Habla tú con nosotros, que nosotros oiremos; mas no hable Dios con nosotros, porque no muramos.

And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die.

They said to Moses, “Speak with us yourself, and we will listen; but don’t let God speak with us, lest we die.”
