Lo hizo porque el Señor le había endurecido el corazón. Así que salió en persecución de Israel, el cual marchaba firme y confiado en la victoria.

Y endureció Jehová el corazón de Faraón rey de Egipto, y siguió á los hijos de Israel; pero los hijos de Israel habían salido con mano poderosa.
