12Haben wir dir nicht gerade dies schon in Ägypten vorgehalten: Laß uns in Ruhe, wir wollen den Ägyptern Sklavendienste verrichten. Denn es wäre besser für uns, den Ägyptern Sklavendienste zu verrichten, als in der Wüste umzukommen!

12¿No es esto lo que te hablamos en Egipto, diciendo: Déjanos servir á los Egipcios? Que mejor nos fuera servir á los Egipcios, que morir nosotros en el desierto.

12Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness.
World English Bible
12Isn’t this the word that we spoke to you in Egypt, saying, ‘Leave us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians’? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the wilderness.”
