24en memoria de que Amán, hijo de Amadati, del linaje de Agag, enemigo y perseguidor de los judíos, maquinó contra ellos el atentado de matarlos y exterminarlos; echó para eso el Fur, que es lo mismo que suerte en nuestra lengua.

24Porque Amán hijo de Amadatha, Agageo, enemigo de todos los Judíos, había ideado contra los Judíos para destruirlos, y echó Pur, que quiere decir suerte, para consumirlos y acabar con ellos.

24Because Haman the son of Hammedatha, the Agagite, the enemy of all the Jews, had devised against the Jews to destroy them, and had cast Pur, that is, the lot, to consume them, and to destroy them;
