7Er war der Pflegevater Hadossas, das ist der Esther, seines Oheims Tochter, da sie weder Vater noch Mutter mehr hatte. Das Mädchen aber war von herrlicher Gestalt und schönem Aussehen. Und als der Vater und die Mutter starben, nahm Mordekai sie selbst als Tochter an.
