8Das Trinken aber ging der Verordnung gemäß ohne jeden Zwang vor sich; denn der König hatte an alle seine Palastbeamten die Weisung ergehen lassen, man solle jedem gestatten, es beim Trinken nach seinem Belieben zu halten. –

8And the drinking was according to the law; none did compel: for so the king had appointed to all the officers of his house, that they should do according to every man’s pleasure.
