17Denn die Kunde von dem Verhalten der Königin wird zu allen Frauen dringen, und es werden ihnen ihre Eheherren verächtlich erscheinen, da sie sagen werden: ›Der König Ahasveros befahl, man solle die Königin Wasthi vor ihn bringen, aber sie kam nicht!‹

17For this deed of the queen shall come abroad unto all women, so that they shall despise their husbands in their eyes, when it shall be reported, The king Ahasuerus commanded Vashti the queen to be brought in before him, but she came not.
