4Wenn nun der HERR, dein Gott, sie ausgestoißen hat vor dir her, so sprich nicht in deinem Herzen: Der HERR hat mich hereingeführet, das Land einzunehmen, urn meiner Gerechtigkeit willen, so doch der HERR diese Heiden vertreibet vor dir her urn ihres gottlosen Wesens willen.

4No discurras en tu corazón cuando Jehová tu Dios los habrá echado de delante de ti, diciendo: Por mi justicia me ha metido Jehová á poseer esta tierra; pues por la impiedad de estas gentes Jehová las echa de delante de ti.

4Speak not thou in thine heart, after that the LORD thy God hath cast them out from before thee, saying, For my righteousness the LORD hath brought me in to possess this land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD doth drive them out from before thee.
World English Bible
4Don’t say in your heart, after the LORD your God has thrust them out from before you, “For my righteousness the LORD has brought me in to possess this land;” because the LORD drives them out before you because of the wickedness of these nations.
