“Quando o Senhor, o seu Deus, introduzir vocês na terra da qual tomarão posse, ele expulsará de diante de vocês muitas nações: os heteus, os girgaseus, os amorreus, os cananeus, os ferezeus, os heveus e os jebuseus. Estas sete nações são maiores e mais fortes do que Israel.
CUANDO Jehová tu Dios te hubiere introducido en la tierra en la cual tú has de entrar para poseerla, y hubiere echado de delante de ti muchas gentes, al Hetheo, al Gergeseo, y al Amorrheo, y al Cananeo, y al Pherezeo, y al Heveo, y al Jebuseo, siete naciones mayores y más fuertes que tú;
When the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou;
When the LORD your God brings you into the land where you go to possess it, and casts out many nations before you—the Hittite, the Girgashite, the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite—seven nations greater and mightier than you;
E quando o Senhor, o seu Deus, entregar essas nações nas suas mãos, para serem derrotadas, então destruam-nas totalmente. Não façam nenhuma aliança com elas, nem tenham pena delas.
Y Jehová tu Dios las hubiere entregado delante de ti, y las hirieres, del todo las destruirás: no harás con ellos alianza, ni las tomarás á merced.
And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:
and when the LORD your God delivers them up before you, and you strike them, then you shall utterly destroy them. You shall make no covenant with them, nor show mercy to them.
Não se casem com as pessoas dessas nações. Não deixem seus filhos casarem com as filhas deles, nem as suas filhas casarem com os filhos deles,
Y no emparentarás con ellos: no darás tu hija á su hijo, ni tomarás á su hija para tu hijo.
Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.
You shall not make marriages with them. You shall not give your daughter to his son, nor shall you take his daughter for your son.
pois isso certamente afastaria os jovens de Israel de mim, eles serviriam a outros deuses, e a ira do Senhor viria sobre vocês, e ele rapidamente destruiria vocês.
Porque desviará á tu hijo de en pos de mí, y servirán á dioses ajenos; y el furor de Jehová se encenderá sobre vosotros, y te destruirá presto.
For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly.
For that would turn away your sons from following me, that they may serve other gods. So the LORD’s anger would be kindled against you, and he would destroy you quickly.
Assim vocês tratarão essas nações: derrubem os seus altares, despedacem as suas colunas, cortem os seus postes-ídolos e queimem suas imagens de escultura.
Mas así habéis de hacer con ellos: sus altares destruiréis, y quebraréis sus estatuas, y cortaréis sus bosques, y quemaréis sus esculturas en el fuego.
But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire.
But you shall deal with them like this: you shall break down their altars, dash their pillars in pieces, cut down their Asherah poles, and burn their engraved images with fire.
Pois vocês são um povo santo, dedicado ao Senhor, o seu Deus. O Senhor, o seu Deus, os escolheu dentre todos os povos da terra para serem o seu próprio povo, propriedade especial dele.
Porque tú eres pueblo santo á Jehová tu Dios: Jehová tu Dios te ha escogido para serle un pueblo especial, más que todos los pueblos que están sobre la haz de la tierra.
For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.
For you are a holy people to the LORD your God. The LORD your God has chosen you to be a people for his own possession, above all peoples who are on the face of the earth.
“O Senhor não dedicou seu amor a vocês, nem os escolheu por serem mais numerosos do que os outros povos, pois, na verdade, vocês eram o menor de todos os povos.
No por ser vosotros más que todos los pueblos os ha querido Jehová, y os ha escogido; porque vosotros erais los más pocos de todos los pueblos:
The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:

Mas foi porque o Senhor os amou e para cumprir a palavra que deu a seus antepassados. Por isso, ele tirou vocês com grande poder e os resgatou da escravidão do Egito, do poder do faraó, rei do Egito.
Sino porque Jehová os amó, y quiso guardar el juramento que juró á vuestros padres, os ha sacado Jehová con mano fuerte, y os ha rescatado de casa de siervos, de la mano de Faraón, rey de Egipto.
But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

Procurem entender, portanto, que o Senhor, o seu Deus, é Deus — Deus fiel, que por mil gerações mantém a aliança e a misericórdia com os que o amam e obedecem aos seus mandamentos.
Conoce, pues, que Jehová tu Dios es Dios, Dios fiel, que guarda el pacto y la misericordia á los que le aman y guardan sus mandamientos, hasta las mil generaciones;
Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

Mas àqueles que o odeiam, ele retribuirá diretamente com castigo; ele não demorará com a retribuição para com aquele que o odeia.
Y que da el pago en su cara al que le aborrece, destruyéndolo: ni lo dilatará al que le odia, en su cara le dará el pago.
And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face.

Portanto, obedeçam às leis, aos mandamentos e às ordenanças que hoje dou a vocês.
Guarda por tanto los mandamientos, y estatutos, y derechos que yo te mando hoy que cumplas.

“Se vocês derem atenção a essas leis e as colocarem em prática, então o Senhor, o seu Deus, manterá a sua aliança e a misericórdia prometidas, sob juramento, aos seus antepassados.
Y será que, por haber oído estos derechos, y guardado y puéstolos por obra, Jehová tu Dios guardará contigo el pacto y la misericordia que juró á tus padres;
Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the LORD thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers:
It shall happen, because you listen to these ordinances and keep and do them, that the LORD your God will keep with you the covenant and the loving kindness which he swore to your fathers.
Ele continuará amando e abençoando vocês e fará que vocês se multipliquem. Ele abençoará os seus filhos e os frutos da sua terra. Israel terá grande produção de cereais, de uvas e de azeite, e muitas crias de gado e de ovelhas na terra que o Senhor prometeu aos seus antepassados que daria a vocês.
Y te amará, y te bendecirá, y te multiplicará, y bendecirá el fruto de tu vientre, y el fruto de tu tierra, y tu grano, y tu mosto, y tu aceite, la cría de tus vacas, y los rebaños de tus ovejas, en la tierra que juró á tus padres que te daría.
And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee.
He will love you, bless you, and multiply you. He will also bless the fruit of your body and the fruit of your ground, your grain and your new wine and your oil, the increase of your livestock and the young of your flock, in the land which he swore to your fathers to give you.
Vocês serão mais abençoados do que todos os povos da terra. Entre os israelitas não haverá estéril, nem homem, nem mulher, nem mesmo entre os seus animais.
Bendito serás más que todos los pueblos: no habrá en ti varón ni hembra estéril, ni en tus bestias.
Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle.
You will be blessed above all peoples. There won’t be male or female barren among you, or among your livestock.
E o Senhor afastará para longe de vocês toda enfermidade, e não deixará que sofram as doenças terríveis que conheceram no Egito; antes, dará aquelas doenças a todos os seus inimigos.
Y quitará Jehová de ti toda enfermedad; y todas las malas plagas de Egipto, que tú sabes, no las pondrá sobre ti, antes las pondrá sobre todos los que te aborrecieren.
And the LORD will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee.
The LORD will take away from you all sickness; and he will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which you know, on you, but will lay them on all those who hate you.
Destruam todos os povos que o Senhor, o seu Deus, entregar a vocês. Não tenham pena deles, e não prestem culto aos seus deuses, porque isso seria uma armadilha para Israel!
Y consumirás á todos los pueblos que te da Jehová tu Dios: no los perdonará tu ojo; ni servirás á sus dioses, que te será tropiezo.
And thou shalt consume all the people which the LORD thy God shall deliver thee; thine eye shall have no pity upon them: neither shalt thou serve their gods; for that will be a snare unto thee.
You shall consume all the peoples whom the LORD your God shall deliver to you. Your eye shall not pity them. You shall not serve their gods; for that would be a snare to you.
“Talvez vocês fiquem pensando: ‘Como poderemos expulsar essas nações? Elas são muito mais fortes do que nós’.
Cuando dijeres en tu corazón: Estas gentes son muchas más que yo, ¿cómo las podré desarraigar?;
If thou shalt say in thine heart, These nations are more than I; how can I dispossess them?
If you shall say in your heart, “These nations are more than I; how can I dispossess them?”
Não tenham medo delas! Basta lembrar o que o Senhor, o seu Deus, fez ao faraó e a todos os egípcios.
No tengas temor de ellos: acuérdate bien de lo que hizo Jehová tu Dios con Faraón y con todo Egipto;
Thou shalt not be afraid of them: but shalt well remember what the LORD thy God did unto Pharaoh, and unto all Egypt;
you shall not be afraid of them. You shall remember well what the LORD your God did to Pharaoh and to all Egypt:
Vocês viram com os seus próprios olhos as grandes provas, os sinais miraculosos e as maravilhas, a mão poderosa e o braço forte com que o Senhor, o seu Deus, os tirou de lá. Pois o Senhor, o seu Deus, usará o mesmo poder contra os povos que agora vocês temem.
De las grandes pruebas que vieron tus ojos, y de las señales y milagros, y de la mano fuerte y brazo extendido con que Jehová tu Dios te sacó: así hará Jehová tu Dios con todos los pueblos de cuya presencia tú temieres.
The great temptations which thine eyes saw, and the signs, and the wonders, and the mighty hand, and the stretched out arm, whereby the LORD thy God brought thee out: so shall the LORD thy God do unto all the people of whom thou art afraid.

Além disso, o Senhor, o seu Deus, mandará entre eles vespas até destruir o restante deles, os que se esconderem em esconderijos.
Y también enviará Jehová tu Dios sobre ellos avispas, hasta que perezcan los que quedaren, y los que se hubieren escondido de delante de ti.

Não fiquem com medo diante deles, porque o Senhor, o seu Deus, que está no meio de vocês, é Deus grande e temível.
No desmayes delante de ellos, que Jehová tu Dios está en medio de ti, Dios grande y terrible.
Thou shalt not be affrighted at them: for the LORD thy God is among you, a mighty God and terrible.
You shall not be scared of them; for the LORD your God is among you, a great and awesome God.
O Senhor, o seu Deus, expulsará essas nações, pouco a pouco. Não fará isso de uma vez, para que os animais selvagens não se multipliquem e se tornem perigosos.
Y Jehová tu Dios echará á estas gentes de delante de ti poco á poco: no las podrás acabar luego, porque las bestias del campo no se aumenten contra ti.
And the LORD thy God will put out those nations before thee by little and little: thou mayest not consume them at once, lest the beasts of the field increase upon thee.
The LORD your God will cast out those nations before you little by little. You may not consume them at once, lest the animals of the field increase on you.
Mas o Senhor, o seu Deus, as entregará a vocês, lançando sobre elas grande perturbação, até que sejam destruídas.
Mas Jehová tu Dios las entregará delante de ti, y él las quebrantará con grande destrozo, hasta que sean destruídos.
But the LORD thy God shall deliver them unto thee, and shall destroy them with a mighty destruction, until they be destroyed.

Ele também entregará a vocês os reis daqueles povos, para que Israel apague o nome deles de debaixo do céu. Ninguém poderá oferecer resistência a vocês, até que os tenham destruído.
Y él entregará sus reyes en tu mano, y tú destruirás el nombre de ellos de debajo del cielo: nadie te hará frente hasta que los destruyas.
And he shall deliver their kings into thine hand, and thou shalt destroy their name from under heaven: there shall no man be able to stand before thee, until thou have destroyed them.

Vocês queimarão as imagens de escultura desses povos, e não cobicem a prata e o ouro que as revestem. Para o Senhor, o seu Deus, isso é detestável.
Las esculturas de sus dioses quemarás en el fuego: no codiciarás plata ni oro de sobre ellas para tomarlo para ti, porque no tropieces en ello, pues es abominación á Jehová tu Dios;
The graven images of their gods shall ye burn with fire: thou shalt not desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it unto thee, lest thou be snared therein: for it is an abomination to the LORD thy God.
You shall burn the engraved images of their gods with fire. You shall not covet the silver or the gold that is on them, nor take it for yourself, lest you be snared in it; for it is an abomination to the LORD your God.
Não levem coisa alguma que seja detestável para dentro de casa, para que vocês não sejam amaldiçoados por causa dessas imagens. Considerem tudo isso detestável e rejeitem-nas completamente, pois elas são amaldiçoadas.
Y no meterás abominación en tu casa, porque no seas anatema como ello; del todo lo aborrecerás y lo abominarás; porque es anatema.
Neither shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but thou shalt utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing.
You shall not bring an abomination into your house and become a devoted thing like it. You shall utterly detest it. You shall utterly abhor it; for it is a devoted thing.
