O Senhor falou face a face conosco no monte, do meio do fogo.
Cara á cara habló Jehová con vosotros en el monte de en medio del fuego,
The LORD talked with you face to face in the mount out of the midst of the fire,
The LORD spoke with you face to face on the mountain out of the middle of the fire,
Naquela ocasião eu estava em pé entre o Senhor e vocês, porque vocês não subiram no monte com medo do fogo. Ele falou a mim, e eu transmiti a palavra do Senhor. Ouçam o que ele disse:
(Yo estaba entonces entre Jehová y vosotros, para denunciaros la palabra de Jehová; porque vosotros tuvisteis temor del fuego, y no subisteis al monte;) diciendo:
(I stood between the LORD and you at that time, to shew you the word of the LORD: for ye were afraid by reason of the fire, and went not up into the mount;) saying,

“ ‘Eu sou o Senhor, o seu Deus. Eu tirei você do Egito, onde você foi um povo escravo.
Yo soy Jehová tu Dios, que te saqué de tierra de Egipto, de casa de siervos.
I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
“I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
“ ‘Não adore outros deuses, além de mim.
No tendrás dioses extraños delante de mí.
Thou shalt have none other gods before me.
“You shall have no other gods before me.
Não faça ídolos. Não preste culto a imagens de qualquer coisa em cima no céu, na terra, ou nas águas debaixo da terra.
No harás para ti escultura, ni imagen alguna de cosa que está arriba en los cielos, ó abajo en la tierra, ó en las aguas debajo de la tierra:
Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth:
“You shall not make a carved image for yourself—any likeness of what is in heaven above, or what is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
Não adore nem se prostre diante de nenhuma imagem, pois eu sou o Senhor, o seu Deus. Sou Deus zeloso e faço o castigo do pecado dos pais alcançar seus filhos até a terceira e quarta geração daqueles que me odeiam,
No te inclinarás á ellas ni les servirás: porque yo soy Jehová tu Dios, fuerte, celoso, que visito la iniquidad de los padres sobre los hijos, y sobre los terceros, y sobre los cuartos, á los que me aborrecen,
Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me,

mas mostrarei bondade até mil gerações àqueles que me amam e guardam os meus mandamentos.
Y que hago misericordia á millares á los que me aman, y guardan mis mandamientos.
And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.

Não use sem o devido respeito o nome do Senhor, seu Deus, pois não deixarei de punir qualquer abuso neste sentido.
No tomarás en vano el nombre de Jehová tu Dios; porque Jehová no dará por inocente al que tomare en vano su nombre.
Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain: for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
“You shall not misuse the name of the LORD your God; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who misuses his name.
Guarde o dia de sábado como um dia de santo repouso, conforme o Senhor, o seu Deus, ordenou a você.
Guardarás el día del reposo para santificarlo, como Jehová tu Dios te ha mandado.
Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee.
“Observe the Sabbath day, to keep it holy, as the LORD your God commanded you.
Trabalhe nos outros seis dias,
Seis días trabajarás y harás toda tu obra:
Six days thou shalt labour, and do all thy work:
You shall labor six days, and do all your work;
mas o sétimo dia é o dia de descanso do Senhor, o seu Deus. Nenhum trabalho será feito nesse dia, nem por você, nem pelo seu filho, nem pela sua filha, nem pelo seu servo, nem pela sua serva, nem pelo seu boi, nem pelo seu jumento, ou qualquer dos seus animais, nem pelo estrangeiro que mora com você, para que o seu servo e a sua serva descansem como você.
Mas el séptimo es reposo á Jehová tu Dios: ninguna obra harás tú, ni tu hijo, ni tu hija, ni tu siervo, ni tu sierva, ni tu buey, ni tu asno, ni ningún animal tuyo, ni tu peregrino que está dentro de tus puertas: porque descanse tu siervo y tu sierva como tú.
But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou.
but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God, in which you shall not do any work—neither you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your ox, nor your donkey, nor any of your livestock, nor your stranger who is within your gates; that your male servant and your female servant may rest as well as you.
Lembre que você foi escravo no Egito, e foi tirado de lá pelo Senhor, o seu Deus, por meio de grandes milagres. Por isso, o Senhor, o seu Deus, ordenou a você que guarde o sábado.
Y acuérdate que fuiste siervo en tierra de Egipto, y que Jehová tu Dios te sacó de allá con mano fuerte y brazo extendido: por lo cual Jehová tu Dios te ha mandado que guardes el día del reposo.
And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the LORD thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the LORD thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.

Honre seu pai e sua mãe, como o Senhor, o seu Deus, ordenou a você, para que tenha vida longa na terra que o Senhor dá a você.
Honra á tu padre y á tu madre, como Jehová tu Dios te ha mandado, para que sean prolongados tus días, y para que te vaya bien sobre la tierra que Jehová tu Dios te da.
Honour thy father and thy mother, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

Não cobice a mulher do seu próximo. Não cobice a casa do seu próximo, nem o seu campo, nem o seu servo ou a sua serva, nem seu boi ou seu jumento, nem qualquer outra coisa que ele possua’ ”.
No codiciarás la mujer de tu prójimo, ni desearás la casa de tu prójimo, ni su tierra, ni su siervo, ni su sierva, ni su buey, ni su asno, ni ninguna cosa que sea de tu prójimo.
Neither shalt thou desire thy neighbour’s wife, neither shalt thou covet thy neighbour’s house, his field, or his manservant, or his maidservant, his ox, or his ass, or any thing that is thy neighbour’s.
“You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife. Neither shall you desire your neighbor’s house, his field, or his male servant, or his female servant, his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor’s.”
“Essas foram as palavras que o Senhor falou a toda a comunidade de vocês, em voz alta, no monte, do meio do fogo, rodeado de nuvens e densa escuridão. Foram estes os únicos mandamentos dados por ele naquela ocasião, e nada acrescentou. Então o Senhor as escreveu em duas tábuas de pedra e depois entregou-as a mim.
Estas palabras habló Jehová á toda vuestra congregación en el monte, de en medio del fuego, de la nube y de la oscuridad, á gran voz: y no añadió más. Y escribiólas en dos tablas de piedra, las cuales me dió á mí.
These words the LORD spake unto all your assembly in the mount out of the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice: and he added no more. And he wrote them in two tables of stone, and delivered them unto me.

“Quando vocês ouviram a voz que vinha do meio da escuridão e viram o fogo ardente, aproximaram-se de mim todos os oficiais das tribos, e as outras autoridades
Y aconteció, que como vosotros oisteis la voz de en medio de las tinieblas, y visteis al monte que ardía en fuego, llegasteis á mí todos los príncipes de vuestras tribus, y vuestros ancianos;
And it came to pass, when ye heard the voice out of the midst of the darkness, (for the mountain did burn with fire,) that ye came near unto me, even all the heads of your tribes, and your elders;
When you heard the voice out of the middle of the darkness, while the mountain was burning with fire, you came near to me, even all the heads of your tribes, and your elders;
e disseram a mim: ‘O Senhor, o nosso Deus, mostrou-nos a sua glória e a sua grandeza. Até mesmo ouvimos o Senhor falando no meio do fogo. Hoje vimos que Deus fala com o homem, e este continua vivo.
Y dijisteis: He aquí, Jehová nuestro Dios nos ha mostrado su gloria y su grandeza, y hemos oído su voz de en medio del fuego: hoy hemos visto que Jehová habla al hombre, y éste vive.
And ye said, Behold, the LORD our God hath shewed us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that God doth talk with man, and he liveth.
and you said, “Behold, the LORD our God has shown us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the middle of the fire. We have seen today that God does speak with man, and he lives.
Mas, agora, por que deveríamos morrer? Este fogo terrível certamente nos consumirá. Se continuarmos a ouvir a voz do Senhor, o nosso Deus, morreremos.
Ahora pues, ¿por qué moriremos? que este gran fuego nos consumirá: si tornáremos á oir la voz de Jehová nuestro Dios, moriremos.
Now therefore why should we die? for this great fire will consume us: if we hear the voice of the LORD our God any more, then we shall die.

Pois quem é que pode ouvir, como nós ouvimos, a voz de Deus do meio das chamas, e continuar vivo?
Porque, ¿qué es toda carne, para que oiga la voz del Dios viviente que habla de en medio del fuego, como nosotros la oímos, y viva?
For who is there of all flesh, that hath heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as we have, and lived?
For who is there of all flesh who has heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the middle of the fire, as we have, and lived?
Portanto, fique você, Moisés, encarregado de ir e ouvir tudo o que o Senhor, o nosso Deus, disser, e depois venha e transmita tudo aquilo que ele disser a você, e nós ouviremos e obedeceremos ao que o Senhor, o nosso Deus, mandar’.
Llega tú, y oye todas las cosas que dijere Jehová nuestro Dios; y tú nos dirás todo lo que Jehová nuestro Dios te dijere, y nosotros oiremos y haremos.

“O Senhor atendeu ao seu pedido e me disse: ‘Ouvi o que o povo disse, e tudo o que disseram está certo.
Y oyó Jehová la voz de vuestras palabras, cuando me hablabais; y díjome Jehová: He oído la voz de las palabras de este pueblo, que ellos te han hablado: bien está todo lo que han dicho.
And the LORD heard the voice of your words, when ye spake unto me; and the LORD said unto me, I have heard the voice of the words of this people, which they have spoken unto thee: they have well said all that they have spoken.

Quem dera eles sempre tivessem um coração que temesse a mim, e estivessem sempre dispostos a obedecer aos meus mandamentos! Então tudo iria bem com eles e com os seus filhos para sempre!
¡Quién diera que tuviesen tal corazón, que me temiesen, y guardasen todos los días todos mis mandamientos, para que á ellos y á sus hijos les fuese bien para siempre!
O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!

“ ‘Vá e diga a eles: Volte cada um à sua tenda.
Ve, diles: Volveos á vuestras tiendas.
Go say to them, Get you into your tents again.

Porém, você ficará aqui comigo, e eu vou dar a você todas as leis, ordens e mandamentos que depois você ensinará ao povo; e o povo deverá obedecer a estes mandamentos na terra que eu vou dar a eles como posse’.

“Portanto, tenham cuidado em fazer tudo o que o Senhor, o seu Deus, ordenou a vocês; não se desviem nem para a direita, nem para a esquerda.
Mirad, pues, que hagáis como Jehová vuestro Dios os ha mandado: no os apartéis á diestra ni á siniestra;
Ye shall observe to do therefore as the LORD your God hath commanded you: ye shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.

Sigam fielmente o caminho que o Senhor, o seu Deus, estabeleceu para vocês. Somente assim é que vocês terão vida longa e próspera na terra da qual vocês vão tomar posse.
Andad en todo camino que Jehová vuestro Dios os ha mandado, para que viváis, y os vaya bien, y tengáis largos días en la tierra que habéis de poseer.
