Per isterminare alla tua venuta nazioni grandissime, e più forti di te, e introdurti nel loro paese, e dartene il dominio, come al giorno d'oggi tu vedi.

Para echar de delante de ti gentes grandes y más fuertes que tú, y para introducirte, y darte su tierra por heredad, como hoy.

To drive out nations from before thee greater and mightier than thou art, to bring thee in, to give thee their land for an inheritance, as it is this day.
