Ensuite, nous nous tournâmes et nous montâmes par le chemin de Basan. Og, le roi de Basan, sortit à notre rencontre avec tout son peuple, pour livrer bataille à Édréi.

Y VOLVIMOS, y subimos camino de Basán, y saliónos al encuentro Og rey de Basán para pelear, él y todo su pueblo, en Edrei.

Then we turned, and went up the way to Bashan: and Og the king of Bashan came out against us, he and all his people, to battle at Edrei.

Le SEIGNEUR me dit : « Ne le crains pas, car je l'ai livré entre tes mains, avec tout son peuple et son pays. Tu le traiteras comme tu as traité Sihon, le roi des Amoréens, qui habitait à Hesbon. »

Y díjome Jehová: No tengas temor de él, porque en tu mano he entregado á él y á todo su pueblo, y su tierra: y harás con él como hiciste con Sehón rey Amorrheo, que habitaba en Hesbón.

And the LORD said unto me, Fear him not: for I will deliver him, and all his people, and his land, into thy hand; and thou shalt do unto him as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon.

The LORD said to me, “Don’t fear him; for I have delivered him, with all his people and his land, into your hand. You shall do to him as you did to Sihon king of the Amorites, who lived at Heshbon.”

Ainsi, le SEIGNEUR notre Dieu livra aussi entre nos mains Og, le roi de Basan, avec tout son peuple. Nous le battîmes jusqu'à ne lui laisser aucun survivant.

Y Jehová nuestro Dios entregó también en nuestra mano á Og rey de Basán, y á todo su pueblo, al cual herimos hasta no quedar de él ninguno.

So the LORD our God delivered into our hands Og also, the king of Bashan, and all his people: and we smote him until none was left to him remaining.

En ce temps-là, nous prîmes toutes ses villes. Il n'y eut pas une seule ville que nous ne leur ayons enlevée : soixante villes, toute la région d'Argob, le royaume d'Og en Basan.

Y tomamos entonces todas sus ciudades; no quedó ciudad que no les tomásemos: sesenta ciudades, toda la tierra de Argob, del reino de Og en Basán.

And we took all his cities at that time, there was not a city which we took not from them, threescore cities, all the region of Argob, the kingdom of Og in Bashan.

Toutes ces villes étaient fortifiées par de hautes murailles, des portes et des verrous. Il y avait en outre un très grand nombre de villes ouvertes.

Todas éstas eran ciudades fortalecidas con alto muro, con puertas y barras; sin otras muy muchas ciudades sin muro.

All these cities were fenced with high walls, gates, and bars; beside unwalled towns a great many.

Nous les vouâmes à la destruction, comme nous l'avions fait pour Sihon, le roi de Hesbon, détruisant entièrement chaque ville habitée, ainsi que les femmes et les enfants.

Y destruímoslas, como hicimos á Sehón rey de Hesbón, destruyendo en toda ciudad hombres, mujeres, y niños.

And we utterly destroyed them, as we did unto Sihon king of Heshbon, utterly destroying the men, women, and children, of every city.

Mais nous prîmes pour nous tout le bétail et le butin des villes.

C'est ainsi qu'en ce temps-là, nous prîmes le pays des mains des deux rois des Amoréens qui vivaient au-delà du Jourdain, depuis la vallée de l'Arnon jusqu'au mont Hermon.

También tomamos en aquel tiempo de mano de dos reyes Amorrheos que estaban de esta parte del Jordán, la tierra desde el arroyo de Arnón hasta el monte de Hermón:

And we took at that time out of the hand of the two kings of the Amorites the land that was on this side Jordan, from the river of Arnon unto mount Hermon;

We took the land at that time out of the hand of the two kings of the Amorites who were beyond the Jordan, from the valley of the Arnon to Mount Hermon.

Nous prîmes toutes les villes du plateau, tout Galaad et tout Basan, jusqu'à Salca et Édréi, qui étaient des villes du royaume d'Og en Basan.

Todas las ciudades de la llanura, y todo Galaad, y todo Basán hasta Salchâ y Edrei, ciudades del reino de Og en Basán.

All the cities of the plain, and all Gilead, and all Bashan, unto Salchah and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan.

(En effet, Og, le roi de Basan, était le seul survivant des Rephaïm. Son lit, un lit en fer, ne se trouve-t-il pas à Rabba, chez les enfants d'Ammon ? Il mesure neuf coudées de long et quatre coudées de large, selon la coudée d'un homme.)

For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of giants; behold, his bedstead was a bedstead of iron; is it not in Rabbath of the children of Ammon? nine cubits was the length thereof, and four cubits the breadth of it, after the cubit of a man.

Nous prîmes possession de ce territoire en ce temps-là : depuis Aroër, qui est sur le bord de la vallée de l'Arnon, ainsi que la moitié de la région montagneuse de Galaad avec ses villes, je les donnai aux Rubénites et aux Gadites ;

Y esta tierra que heredamos entonces desde Aroer, que está al arroyo de Arnón, y la mitad del monte de Galaad con sus ciudades, dí á los Rubenitas y á los Gaditas:

And this land, which we possessed at that time, from Aroer, which is by the river Arnon, and half mount Gilead, and the cities thereof, gave I unto the Reubenites and to the Gadites.

This land we took in possession at that time: from Aroer, which is by the valley of the Arnon, and half the hill country of Gilead with its cities, I gave to the Reubenites and to the Gadites;

et je donnai à la demi-tribu de Manassé le reste de Galaad et tout Basan, le royaume d'Og, c'est-à-dire toute la région d'Argob, avec tout Basan. (Cette contrée est appelée le pays des Rephaïm.

Y el resto de Galaad, y todo Basán, del reino de Og, dílo á la media tribu de Manasés; toda la tierra de Argob, todo Basán, que se llamaba la tierra de los gigantes.

And the rest of Gilead, and all Bashan, being the kingdom of Og, gave I unto the half tribe of Manasseh; all the region of Argob, with all Bashan, which was called the land of giants.

and the rest of Gilead, and all Bashan, the kingdom of Og, I gave to the half-tribe of Manasseh—all the region of Argob, even all Bashan. (The same is called the land of Rephaim.

Jaïr, fils de Manassé, s'empara de toute la région d'Argob jusqu'à la frontière des Gueshuriens et des Maacathiens, et il donna son propre nom aux villages de Basan, qu'on appelle encore aujourd'hui Havvoth-Jaïr.)

Jair hijo de Manasés tomó toda la tierra de Argob hasta el término de Gessuri y Machâti; y llamóla de su nombre Basán-havoth-jair, hasta hoy.

Jair the son of Manasseh took all the country of Argob unto the coasts of Geshuri and Maachathi; and called them after his own name, Bashan-havoth-jair, unto this day.

Je donnai Galaad à Makir.

Y á Machîr dí á Galaad.

Aux Rubénites et aux Gadites, je donnai une partie de Galaad jusqu'à la vallée de l'Arnon, le milieu de la vallée servant de frontière, et jusqu'au torrent du Jabbok, qui est la frontière des enfants d'Ammon ;

Y á los Rubenitas y Gaditas dí de Galaad hasta el arroyo de Arnón, el medio del arroyo por término; hasta el arroyo de Jaboc, término de los hijos de Ammón:

And unto the Reubenites and unto the Gadites I gave from Gilead even unto the river Arnon half the valley, and the border even unto the river Jabbok, which is the border of the children of Ammon;

To the Reubenites and to the Gadites I gave from Gilead even to the valley of the Arnon, the middle of the valley, and its border, even to the river Jabbok, which is the border of the children of Ammon;

je leur donnai aussi l'Araba, avec le Jourdain pour frontière, depuis Kinnereth jusqu'à la mer de l'Araba, la mer Salée, au pied des pentes du Pisga, vers l'est.

Asimismo la campiña, y el Jordán, y el término, desde Cinereth hasta la mar del llano, el mar Salado, las vertientes abajo del Pisga al oriente.

The plain also, and Jordan, and the coast thereof, from Chinnereth even unto the sea of the plain, even the salt sea, under Ashdoth-pisgah eastward.

En ce temps-là, je vous donnai cet ordre : « Le SEIGNEUR votre Dieu vous a donné ce pays pour que vous en preniez possession. Vous tous, hommes vaillants, vous passerez en armes devant vos frères, les enfants d'Israël.

Y os mandé entonces, diciendo: Jehová vuestro Dios os ha dado esta tierra para que la poseáis: pasaréis armados delante de vuestros hermanos los hijos de Israel todos los valientes.

And I commanded you at that time, saying, The LORD your God hath given you this land to possess it: ye shall pass over armed before your brethren the children of Israel, all that are meet for the war.

Seuls vos femmes, vos enfants et vos troupeaux (car je sais que vous avez de nombreux troupeaux) resteront dans les villes que je vous ai données,

Solamente vuestras mujeres, vuestros niños, y vuestros ganados, (yo sé que tenéis mucho ganado,) quedarán en vuestras ciudades que os he dado,

But your wives, and your little ones, and your cattle, (for I know that ye have much cattle,) shall abide in your cities which I have given you;

But your wives, and your little ones, and your livestock, (I know that you have much livestock), shall live in your cities which I have given you,

jusqu'à ce que le SEIGNEUR accorde du repos à vos frères comme à vous, et qu'ils prennent eux aussi possession du pays que le SEIGNEUR votre Dieu leur donne au-delà du Jourdain. Ensuite, chacun de vous pourra retourner dans la propriété que je vous ai donnée. »

Hasta que Jehová dé reposo á vuestros hermanos, así como á vosotros, y hereden también ellos la tierra que Jehová vuestro Dios les da á la otra parte del Jordán: entonces os volveréis cada uno á su heredad que yo os he dado.

Until the LORD have given rest unto your brethren, as well as unto you, and until they also possess the land which the LORD your God hath given them beyond Jordan: and then shall ye return every man unto his possession, which I have given you.

until the LORD gives rest to your brothers, as to you, and they also possess the land which the LORD your God gives them beyond the Jordan. Then you shall each return to his own possession, which I have given you.”

En ce temps-là, je donnai cet ordre à Josué : « Tes yeux ont vu tout ce que le SEIGNEUR votre Dieu a fait à ces deux rois. Le SEIGNEUR fera de même à tous les royaumes où tu vas passer.

Mandé también á Josué entonces, diciendo: Tus ojos vieron todo lo que Jehová vuestro Dios ha hecho á aquellos dos reyes: así hará Jehová á todos los reinos á los cuales pasarás tú.

And I commanded Joshua at that time, saying, Thine eyes have seen all that the LORD your God hath done unto these two kings: so shall the LORD do unto all the kingdoms whither thou passest.

Ne les craignez pas, car le SEIGNEUR votre Dieu combat lui-même pour vous. »

No los temáis; que Jehová vuestro Dios, él es el que pelea por vosotros.

Ye shall not fear them: for the LORD your God he shall fight for you.

You shall not fear them; for the LORD your God himself fights for you.”

En ce temps-là, j'implorai DIEU :

Y oré á Jehová en aquel tiempo, diciendo:

And I besought the LORD at that time, saying,

I begged GOD at that time, saying,

« Seigneur DIEU, tu as commencé à montrer à ton serviteur ta grandeur et ta main puissante. Car quel dieu, dans le ciel ou sur la terre, peut accomplir des œuvres et des hauts faits comparables aux tiens ?

Señor Jehová, tú has comenzado á mostrar á tu siervo tu grandeza, y tu mano fuerte: porque ¿qué dios hay en el cielo ni en la tierra que haga según tus obras, y según tus valentías?

O Lord GOD, thou hast begun to shew thy servant thy greatness, and thy mighty hand: for what God is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to thy works, and according to thy might?

“Lord GOD, you have begun to show your servant your greatness, and your strong hand. For what god is there in heaven or in earth that can do works like yours, and mighty acts like yours?

Laisse-moi passer, je te prie, pour voir ce bon pays qui est au-delà du Jourdain, cette belle montagne et le Liban. »

Pase yo, ruégote, y vea aquella tierra buena, que está á la parte allá del Jordán, aquel buen monte, y el Líbano.

I pray thee, let me go over, and see the good land that is beyond Jordan, that goodly mountain, and Lebanon.

Please let me go over and see the good land that is beyond the Jordan, that fine mountain, and Lebanon.”

Mais le SEIGNEUR s'irrita contre moi à cause de vous, et il ne m'exauça pas. Le SEIGNEUR me dit : « C'est assez ! Ne me parle plus de cette affaire.

Mas Jehová se había enojado contra mí por causa de vosotros, por lo cual no me oyó: y díjome Jehová: Bástate, no me hables más de este negocio.

But the LORD was wroth with me for your sakes, and would not hear me: and the LORD said unto me, Let it suffice thee; speak no more unto me of this matter.

But the LORD was angry with me because of you, and didn’t listen to me. The LORD said to me, “That is enough! Speak no more to me of this matter.

Monte au sommet du Pisga, lève les yeux vers l'ouest, vers le nord, vers le sud et vers l'est, et contemple le pays de tes propres yeux ; car tu ne passeras pas ce Jourdain.

Sube á la cumbre del Pisga, y alza tus ojos al occidente, y al aquilón, y al mediodía, y al oriente, y ve por tus ojos: porque no pasarás este Jordán.

Get thee up into the top of Pisgah, and lift up thine eyes westward, and northward, and southward, and eastward, and behold it with thine eyes: for thou shalt not go over this Jordan.

Go up to the top of Pisgah, and lift up your eyes westward, and northward, and southward, and eastward, and see with your eyes; for you shall not go over this Jordan.

Donne tes ordres à Josué, encourage-le et fortifie-le ; car c'est lui qui passera devant ce peuple, et c'est lui qui les mettra en possession du pays que tu vas voir. »

Y manda á Josué, y anímalo, y confórtalo; porque él ha de pasar delante de este pueblo, y él les hará heredar la tierra que verás.

Nous demeurâmes donc dans la vallée, vis-à-vis de Beth-Peor.

So we abode in the valley over against Beth-peor.
