If there be a controversy between men, and they come unto judgment, that the judges may judge them; then they shall justify the righteous, and condemn the wicked.

Y si el culpable ha merecido ser azotado, el juez lo mandará tender en el suelo, y en su presencia le hará azotar a medida de su delito, contando los azotes.
Será que, si el delincuente mereciere ser azotado, entonces el juez lo hará echar en tierra, y harále azotar delante de sí, según su delito, por cuenta.

No le hará dar más de cuarenta azotes, no sea que continúe dándole muchos azotes más y quede tu hermano deshonrado a tus ojos.
Harále dar cuarenta azotes, no más: no sea que, si lo hiriere con muchos azotes á más de éstos, se envilezca tu hermano delante de tus ojos.
Forty stripes he may give him, and not exceed: lest, if he should exceed, and beat him above these with many stripes, then thy brother should seem vile unto thee.
He may sentence him to no more than forty stripes. He shall not give more, lest if he should give more and beat him more than that many stripes, then your brother will be degraded in your sight.

Si hermanos viven juntos y muriere uno de ellos sin tener hijos, la mujer del difunto no se casará fuera con un extraño, sino que su cuñado se llegará a ella y la tomará por mujer, cumpliendo con ella el deber del levirato.
Cuando hermanos estuvieren juntos, y muriere alguno de ellos, y no tuviere hijo, la mujer del muerto no se casará fuera con hombre extraño: su cuñado entrará á ella, y la tomará por su mujer, y hará con ella parentesco.
If brethren dwell together, and one of them die, and have no child, the wife of the dead shall not marry without unto a stranger: her husband’s brother shall go in unto her, and take her to him to wife, and perform the duty of an husband’s brother unto her.

El primogénito que ella diere a luz, será sucesor del nombre del hermano difunto, para que su nombre no se borre de Israel.
Y será que el primogénito que pariere ella, se levantará en nombre de su hermano el muerto, porque el nombre de éste no sea raído de Israel.
And it shall be, that the firstborn which she beareth shall succeed in the name of his brother which is dead, that his name be not put out of Israel.

Pero si el hombre no deseare tomar a su cuñada, subirá esta a la puerta donde están los ancianos, y dirá: ‘Rehúsa mi cuñado resucitar el nombre de su hermano en Israel; no quiere cumplir conmigo el deber de levirato.’
Y si el hombre no quisiere tomar á su cuñada, irá entonces la cuñada suya á la puerta á los ancianos, y dirá: Mi cuñado no quiere suscitar nombre en Israel á su hermano; no quiere emparentar conmigo.
And if the man like not to take his brother’s wife, then let his brother’s wife go up to the gate unto the elders, and say, My husband’s brother refuseth to raise up unto his brother a name in Israel, he will not perform the duty of my husband’s brother.
If the man doesn’t want to take his brother’s wife, then his brother’s wife shall go up to the gate to the elders, and say, “My husband’s brother refuses to raise up to his brother a name in Israel. He will not perform the duty of a husband’s brother to me.”
Entonces le llamarán los ancianos de su ciudad y le hablarán; y si él persiste y dice: ‘No quiero tomarla’,
Entonces los ancianos de aquella ciudad lo harán venir, y hablarán con él: y si él se levantare, y dijere, No quiero tomarla,
Then the elders of his city shall call him, and speak unto him: and if he stand to it, and say, I like not to take her;

su cuñada se acercará a él y en presencia de los ancianos le quitará el calzado del pie, le escupirá en la cara y contestará diciendo: ‘Así se ha de hacer al hombre que no quiere edificar la casa de su hermano.’
Llegaráse entonces su cuñada á él delante de los ancianos, y le descalzará el zapato de su pie, y escupirále en el rostro, y hablará y dirá: Así será hecho al varón que no edificare la casa de su hermano.
Then shall his brother’s wife come unto him in the presence of the elders, and loose his shoe from off his foot, and spit in his face, and shall answer and say, So shall it be done unto that man that will not build up his brother’s house.

Y se le dará en Israel este nombre: La casa del descalzado.
Y su nombre será llamado en Israel: La casa del descalzado.
And his name shall be called in Israel, The house of him that hath his shoe loosed.
His name shall be called in Israel, “The house of him who had his sandal removed.”
Si entre hombres que riñen, el uno con el otro, y la mujer del uno de ellos se acerca para librar a su marido de la mano del que lo golpea, y alargando la mano (contra este) le agarra por las partes vergonzosas,
Cuando algunos riñeren juntos el uno con el otro, y llegare la mujer del uno para librar á su marido de mano del que le hiriere, y metiere su mano y le trabare de sus vergüenzas;
When men strive together one with another, and the wife of the one draweth near for to deliver her husband out of the hand of him that smiteth him, and putteth forth her hand, and taketh him by the secrets:

le cortarás a ella la mano; tu ojo no tendrá compasión.
La cortarás entonces la mano, no la perdonará tu ojo.

Thou shalt not have in thine house divers measures, a great and a small.
You shall not have in your house diverse measures, one large and one small.
Tendrás pesa exacta y justa; tendrás medida exacta y justa; para que vivas largo tiempo en la tierra que Yahvé, tu Dios, va a darte.
Pesas cumplidas y justas tendrás; epha cabal y justo tendrás: para que tus días sean prolongados sobre la tierra que Jehová tu Dios te da.
But thou shalt have a perfect and just weight, a perfect and just measure shalt thou have: that thy days may be lengthened in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

Porque abominable ante Yahvé, tu Dios, es todo el que hace tales cosas, todo el que comete iniquidad.

Acuérdate de lo que hizo Amalec en el camino, cuando saliste de Egipto,
Acuérdate de lo que te hizo Amalec en el camino, cuando salisteis de Egipto:
Remember what Amalek did unto thee by the way, when ye were come forth out of Egypt;
Remember what Amalek did to you by the way as you came out of Egypt,
cómo te salió al encuentro en el camino, y asaltó a tus rezagados, todos los débiles que iban atrás, estando tú fatigado y agotado; y cómo no tuvo temor de Dios.
Que te salió al camino, y te desbarató la retaguardia de todos los flacos que iban detrás de ti, cuando tú estabas cansado y trabajado; y no temió á Dios.
How he met thee by the way, and smote the hindmost of thee, even all that were feeble behind thee, when thou wast faint and weary; and he feared not God.

Ahora bien, cuando Yahvé, tu Dios, te diere descanso de todos tus enemigos a la redonda, en el país que Yahvé, tu Dios, te dará en propiedad hereditaria, borrarás la memoria de Amalec de debajo del cielo. No lo olvides.
Será pues, cuando Jehová tu Dios te hubiere dado reposo de tus enemigos alrededor, en la tierra que Jehová tu Dios te da por heredad para que la poseas, que raerás la memoria de Amalec de debajo del cielo: no te olvides.
Therefore it shall be, when the LORD thy God hath given thee rest from all thine enemies round about, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it, that thou shalt blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven; thou shalt not forget it.
