Si aucun des hommes de cette méchante génération voit ce bon pays que j’ai juré de donner à vos pères.

No verá hombre alguno de estos de esta mala generación, la buena tierra que juré había de dar á vuestros padres,

Surely there shall not one of these men of this evil generation see that good land, which I sware to give unto your fathers,

“Surely not one of these men of this evil generation shall see the good land which I swore to give to your fathers,
