Essa cópia da lei estará sempre junto dele. O rei precisará ler esse livro todos os dias da sua vida para aprender a respeitar o Senhor, o seu Deus, e a obedecer a todas as palavras desta lei e todos os seus mandamentos.
Y lo tendrá consigo, y leerá en él todos los días de su vida, para que aprenda á temer á Jehová su Dios, para guardar todas las palabras de aquesta ley y estos estatutos, para ponerlos por obra:
