Du sollst das Recht nicht beugen, nicht parteilich sein und nicht Geschenke annehmen; denn das Geschenk macht die Weisen blind und verkehrt die gerechte Sache. 20 Nichts als das Recht sollst du im Auge haben, auf daß du leben bleibest im Besitze des Landes, welches dir Jahwe, dein Gott, giebt.
No tuerzas el derecho; no hagas acepción de personas, ni tomes soborno; porque el soborno ciega los ojos de los sabios, y pervierte las palabras de los justos.
Thou shalt not wrest judgment; thou shalt not respect persons, neither take a gift: for a gift doth blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous.
You shall not pervert justice. You shall not show partiality. You shall not take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and perverts the words of the righteous.
