Septante en francais
1Voici les préceptes et les jugements que vous aurez soin d'exécuter, en la terre que le Seigneur Dieu de vos pères vous donne pour héritage, tous les jours de votre vie sur la terre :
2Vous bouleverserez de fond en comble tous les lieux où les Gentils sacrifiaient à leurs dieux et que vous allez posséder, soit au sommet des monts, soit sur des tertres, soit sous des arbres touffus.
3Et vous détruirez leurs autels, vous briserez leurs colonnes, vous abattrez leurs bois sacrés et vous consumerez par la flamme les images sculptées de leurs dieux, et leur nom sera effacé sur cette terre.
4Vous ne servirez pas ainsi le Seigneur votre Dieu.
5Mais vous vous dirigerez avec amour vers le lieu que vous choisira le Seigneur en l'une de vos villes, pour le consacrer sous son nom, et pour qu'il y soit invoqué ; c'est là que vous irez.
6C'est là que vous offrirez vos holocaustes, et vos sacrifices, et vos prémices, et vos offrandes soit d'actions de grâces, soit votives, soit volontaires, et les premiers-nés de vos bœufs et de vos menus troupeaux.
7C'est là que vous mangerez devant le Seigneur votre Dieu, et que vous vous réjouirez de toutes choses que vous et vos familles aurez en la main, selon que le Seigneur votre Dieu vous aura bénis.
8Vous ne ferez plus, comme vous faites ici maintenant, chacun à votre gré.
9Car jusqu'à ce jour vous n'étiez point arrivés au lieu de repos, dans l'héritage que le Seigneur vous donne.
10Et vous traverserez le Jourdain, et vous demeurerez en la terre que le Seigneur vous donne en héritage ; il vous défendra contre tous les ennemis dont vous serez entourés, et vous y demeurerez dans une entière assurance.
11Et il y aura là le lieu que le Seigneur choisira pour que son nom y soit invoqué ; c'est là que vous porterez tout ce que je vous prescris : vos holocaustes, vos sacrifices, vos dîmes, les prémices du fruit de vos travaux, et tout don choisi que vous aurez voué au Seigneur votre Dieu.
12Et vous vous réjouirez devant le Seigneur votre Dieu, vous et vos fils, et vos filles, et vos serviteurs, et vos servantes, avec le lévite qui demeure dans vos villes, car il n'a ni lot ni part d'héritage au milieu de vous.
13Sois attentif à ne point sacrifier d'holocauste, n'importe en quel lieu que tu aies vu,
14Mais seulement dans le lieu que choisira le Seigneur ton Dieu parmi l'une de vos tribus ; c'est là que vous offrirez vos holocaustes, et que vous ferez les offrandes que je vous commande aujourd'hui.
15Cependant, tu pourras tuer de ton bétail, au gré de tes désirs, et manger des chairs selon que le Seigneur ton Dieu t'aura béni, en toute ville ; l'impur parmi vous et le pur en mangeront dans le même lieu, comme on mange du cerf ou du daim,
16Mais vous ne mangerez point le sang ; répandez-le par terre, comme de l'eau.
17Tu ne pourras consommer en tes villes la dîme de ton blé, de ton vin, de ton huile, ni les premiers-nés de tes bœufs ou de tes menus troupeaux, ni tes offrandes votives, ni celles d'actions de grâces, ni les prémices du fruit de vos travaux.
18Tu consommeras toutes ces choses devant le Seigneur ton Dieu, dans le lieu seul que le Seigneur choisira, toi et ton fils, et ta fille, et ton serviteur, et ta servante, et le prosélyte établi en vos villes. Et tu te réjouiras devant le Seigneur ton Dieu de toutes ces choses que tu possèderas.
19Sois attentif à ne point négliger le lévite, tant que tu vivras sur la terre.
20Et si le Seigneur ton Dieu dilate tes limites, comme il te l'a promis, et si tu dis : Je veux manger de la chair ; si les désirs de ton âme t'excitent à manger de la chair, tu pourras en manger au gré des désirs de ton âme.
21Et si le lieu choisi par le Seigneur ton Dieu pour que son nom y soit invoqué, est loin de toi, tu immoleras une part de tes bœufs et de tes menus troupeaux de la manière que je t'ai prescrite, et tu en mangeras dans tes villes, au gré des désirs de ton âme.
22Tu en mangeras comme on mange du cerf ou du daim ; l'impur parmi vous, et le pur en mangeront au même lieu.
23Sois très-attentif à ne point manger de sang ; car le sang de la victime est la vie ; la vie ne sera point mangée avec les chairs.
24Ne mangez point le sang, répandez-le par terre, comme de l'eau.
25Ne le mange point, afin que tu prospères, et qu'après toi tes fils prospèrent, parce que tu auras fait ce qui est bon et agréable devant le Seigneur ton Dieu.
26Mais tu prendras les choses consacrées, si tu en as, et tes offrandes votives, et tu iras au lieu choisi par le Seigneur pour que son nom y soit invoqué
27Tu sacrifieras tes holocaustes et tu offriras les chairs sur l'autel du Seigneur ton Dieu, et tu répandras le sang au pied de l'autel, et tu mangeras les chairs.
28Prends garde, écoute ; tu exécuteras toutes les paroles que je te mande, afin que tu prospères et que tes fils prospèrent à travers les siècles, parce que tu auras fait ce qui est bon et agréable devant le Seigneur ton Dieu.
29Lorsque le Seigneur ton Dieu aura exterminé sous tes yeux les nations contre lesquelles tu marches pour partager leur terre, et que tu l'auras partagée, et que tu y demeureras,
30Veille en toi-même et ne cherche point à les imiter après qu'elles auront été exterminées sous tes yeux ; ne dis pas : Ce que font les nations pour leurs dieux, je le ferai pareillement.
31Ne fais point comme elles pour ton Dieu, car elles font pour leurs dieux l'abomination du Seigneur, ce que le Seigneur exècre : elles livrent aux flammes, pour leurs dieux, leurs fils et leurs filles.

1ESTOS son los estatutos y derechos que cuidaréis de poner por obra, en la tierra que Jehová el Dios de tus padres te ha dado para que la poseas, todos los días que vosotros viviereis sobre la tierra.
2Destruiréis enteramente todos los lugares donde las gentes que vosotros heredareis sirvieron á sus dioses, sobre los montes altos, y sobre los collados, y debajo de todo árbol espeso:
3Y derribaréis sus altares, y quebraréis sus imágenes, y sus bosques consumiréis con fuego: y destruiréis las esculturas de sus dioses, y extirparéis el nombre de ellas de aquel lugar.
4No haréis así á Jehová vuestro Dios.
5Mas el lugar que Jehová vuestro Dios escogiere de todas vuestras tribus, para poner allí su nombre para su habitación, ése buscaréis, y allá iréis:
6Y allí llevaréis vuestros holocaustos, y vuestros sacrificios, y vuestros diezmos, y la ofrenda elevada de vuestras manos, y vuestros votos, y vuestras ofrendas voluntarias, y los primerizos de vuestras vacas y de vuestras ovejas:
7Y comeréis allí delante de Jehová vuestro Dios, y os alegraréis, vosotros y vuestras familias, en toda obra de vuestras manos en que Jehová tu Dios te hubiere bendecido.
8No haréis como todo lo que nosotros hacemos aquí ahora, cada uno lo que le parece,
9Porque aun hasta ahora no habéis entrado al reposo y á la heredad que os da Jehová vuestro Dios.
10Mas pasaréis el Jordán, y habitaréis en la tierra que Jehová vuestro Dios os hace heredar, y él os dará reposo de todos vuestros enemigos alrededor, y habitaréis seguros.
11Y al lugar que Jehová vuestro Dios escogiere para hacer habitar en él su nombre, allí llevaréis todas las cosas que yo os mando: vuestros holocaustos, y vuestros sacrificios, vuestros diezmos, y las ofrendas elevadas de vuestras manos, y todo lo escogido de vuestros votos que hubiereis prometido á Jehová;
12Y os alegraréis delante de Jehová vuestro Dios, vosotros, y vuestros hijos, y vuestras hijas, y vuestros siervos, y vuestras siervas, y el Levita que estuviere en vuestras poblaciones: por cuanto no tiene parte ni heredad con vosotros.
13Guárdate, que no ofrezcas tus holocaustos en cualquier lugar que vieres;
14Mas en el lugar que Jehová escogiere, en una de tus tribus, allí ofrecerás tus holocaustos, y allí harás todo lo que yo te mando.
15Con todo, podrás matar y comer carne en todas tus poblaciones conforme al deseo de tu alma, según la bendición de Jehová tu Dios que él te habrá dado: el inmundo y el limpio la comerá, como la de corzo ó de ciervo:
16Salvo que sangre no comeréis; sobre la tierra la derramaréis como agua.
17Ni podrás comer en tus poblaciones el diezmo de tu grano, ó de tu vino, ó de tu aceite, ni los primerizos de tus vacas, ni de tus ovejas, ni tus votos que prometieres, ni tus ofrendas voluntarias, ni las elevadas ofrendas de tus manos:
18Mas delante de Jehová tu Dios las comerás, en el lugar que Jehová tu Dios hubiere escogido, tú, y tu hijo, y tu hija, y tu siervo, y tu sierva, y el Levita que está en tus poblaciones: y alegrarte has delante de Jehová tu Dios en toda obra de tus manos.
19Ten cuidado de no desamparar al Levita en todos tus días sobre tu tierra.
20Cuando Jehová tu Dios ensanchare tu término, como él te ha dicho, y tú dijeres, Comeré carne, porque deseó tu alma comerla, conforme á todo el deseo de tu alma comerás carne.
21Cuando estuviere lejos de ti el lugar que Jehová tu Dios habrá escogido, para poner allí su nombre, matarás de tus vacas y de tus ovejas, que Jehová te hubiere dado, como te he mandado yo, y comerás en tus puertas según todo lo que deseare tu alma.
22Lo mismo que se come el corzo y el ciervo, así las comerás: el inmundo y el limpio comerán también de ellas.
23Solamente que te esfuerces á no comer sangre: porque la sangre es el alma; y no has de comer el alma juntamente con su carne.
24No la comerás: en tierra la derramarás como agua.
25No comerás de ella; para que te vaya bien á ti, y á tus hijos después de ti, cuando hicieres lo recto en ojos de Jehová.
26Empero las cosas que tuvieres tú consagradas, y tus votos, las tomarás, y vendrás al lugar que Jehová hubiere escogido:
27Y ofrecerás tus holocaustos, la carne y la sangre, sobre el altar de Jehová tu Dios: y la sangre de tus sacrificios será derramada sobre el altar de Jehová tu Dios, y comerás la carne.
28Guarda y escucha todas estas palabras que yo te mando, porque te vaya bien á ti y á tus hijos después de ti para siempre, cuando hicieres lo bueno y lo recto en los ojos de Jehová tu Dios.
29Cuando hubiere devastado delante de ti Jehová tu Dios las naciones á donde tú vas para poseerlas, y las heredares, y habitares en su tierra,
30Guárdate que no tropieces en pos de ellas, después que fueren destruídas delante de ti: no preguntes acerca de sus dioses, diciendo: De la manera que servían aquellas gentes á sus dioses, así haré yo también.
31No harás así á Jehová tu Dios; porque todo lo que Jehová aborrece, hicieron ellos á sus dioses; pues aun á sus hijos é hijas quemaban en el fuego á sus dioses.
32Cuidaréis de hacer todo lo que yo os mando: no añadirás á ello, ni quitarás de ello.

1These are the statutes and judgments, which ye shall observe to do in the land, which the LORD God of thy fathers giveth thee to possess it, all the days that ye live upon the earth.
2Ye shall utterly destroy all the places, wherein the nations which ye shall possess served their gods, upon the high mountains, and upon the hills, and under every green tree:
3And ye shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves with fire; and ye shall hew down the graven images of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place.
4Ye shall not do so unto the LORD your God.
5But unto the place which the LORD your God shall choose out of all your tribes to put his name there, even unto his habitation shall ye seek, and thither thou shalt come:
6And thither ye shall bring your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and heave offerings of your hand, and your vows, and your freewill offerings, and the firstlings of your herds and of your flocks:
7And there ye shall eat before the LORD your God, and ye shall rejoice in all that ye put your hand unto, ye and your households, wherein the LORD thy God hath blessed thee.
8Ye shall not do after all the things that we do here this day, every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes.
9For ye are not as yet come to the rest and to the inheritance, which the LORD your God giveth you.
10But when ye go over Jordan, and dwell in the land which the LORD your God giveth you to inherit, and when he giveth you rest from all your enemies round about, so that ye dwell in safety;
11Then there shall be a place which the LORD your God shall choose to cause his name to dwell there; thither shall ye bring all that I command you; your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the heave offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which ye vow unto the LORD:
12And ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God, ye, and your sons, and your daughters, and your menservants, and your maidservants, and the Levite that is within your gates; forasmuch as he hath no part nor inheritance with you.
13Take heed to thyself that thou offer not thy burnt offerings in every place that thou seest:
14But in the place which the LORD shall choose in one of thy tribes, there thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, and there thou shalt do all that I command thee.
15Notwithstanding thou mayest kill and eat flesh in all thy gates, whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, according to the blessing of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee: the unclean and the clean may eat thereof, as of the roebuck, and as of the hart.
16Only ye shall not eat the blood; ye shall pour it upon the earth as water.
17Thou mayest not eat within thy gates the tithe of thy corn, or of thy wine, or of thy oil, or the firstlings of thy herds or of thy flock, nor any of thy vows which thou vowest, nor thy freewill offerings, or heave offering of thine hand:
18But thou must eat them before the LORD thy God in the place which the LORD thy God shall choose, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite that is within thy gates: and thou shalt rejoice before the LORD thy God in all that thou puttest thine hands unto.
19Take heed to thyself that thou forsake not the Levite as long as thou livest upon the earth.
20When the LORD thy God shall enlarge thy border, as he hath promised thee, and thou shalt say, I will eat flesh, because thy soul longeth to eat flesh; thou mayest eat flesh, whatsoever thy soul lusteth after.
21If the place which the LORD thy God hath chosen to put his name there be too far from thee, then thou shalt kill of thy herd and of thy flock, which the LORD hath given thee, as I have commanded thee, and thou shalt eat in thy gates whatsoever thy soul lusteth after.
22Even as the roebuck and the hart is eaten, so thou shalt eat them: the unclean and the clean shall eat of them alike.
23Only be sure that thou eat not the blood: for the blood is the life; and thou mayest not eat the life with the flesh.
24Thou shalt not eat it; thou shalt pour it upon the earth as water.
25Thou shalt not eat it; that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, when thou shalt do that which is right in the sight of the LORD.

29When the LORD thy God shall cut off the nations from before thee, whither thou goest to possess them, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their land;
30Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise.
31Thou shalt not do so unto the LORD thy God: for every abomination to the LORD, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods.
32What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.

1These are the statutes and the ordinances which you shall observe to do in the land which the LORD, the God of your fathers, has given you to possess all the days that you live on the earth.
2You shall surely destroy all the places in which the nations that you shall dispossess served their gods: on the high mountains, and on the hills, and under every green tree.
3You shall break down their altars, dash their pillars in pieces, and burn their Asherah poles with fire. You shall cut down the engraved images of their gods. You shall destroy their name out of that place.
4You shall not do so to the LORD your God.
5But to the place which the LORD your God shall choose out of all your tribes, to put his name there, you shall seek his habitation, and you shall come there.
6You shall bring your burnt offerings, your sacrifices, your tithes, the wave offering of your hand, your vows, your free will offerings, and the firstborn of your herd and of your flock there.
7There you shall eat before the LORD your God, and you shall rejoice in all that you put your hand to, you and your households, in which the LORD your God has blessed you.
8You shall not do all the things that we do here today, every man whatever is right in his own eyes;

15Yet you may kill and eat meat within all your gates, after all the desire of your soul, according to the LORD your God’s blessing which he has given you. The unclean and the clean may eat of it, as of the gazelle and the deer.
16Only you shall not eat the blood. You shall pour it out on the earth like water.
17You may not eat within your gates the tithe of your grain, or of your new wine, or of your oil, or the firstborn of your herd or of your flock, nor any of your vows which you vow, nor your free will offerings, nor the wave offering of your hand;
18but you shall eat them before the LORD your God in the place which the LORD your God shall choose: you, your son, your daughter, your male servant, your female servant, and the Levite who is within your gates. You shall rejoice before the LORD your God in all that you put your hand to.
19Be careful that you don’t forsake the Levite as long as you live in your land.
20When the LORD your God enlarges your border, as he has promised you, and you say, “I want to eat meat,” because your soul desires to eat meat, you may eat meat, after all the desire of your soul.
21If the place which the LORD your God shall choose to put his name is too far from you, then you shall kill of your herd and of your flock, which the LORD has given you, as I have commanded you; and you may eat within your gates, after all the desire of your soul.
22Even as the gazelle and as the deer is eaten, so you shall eat of it. The unclean and the clean may eat of it alike.

27You shall offer your burnt offerings, the meat and the blood, on the LORD your God’s altar. The blood of your sacrifices shall be poured out on the LORD your God’s altar, and you shall eat the meat.
28Observe and hear all these words which I command you, that it may go well with you and with your children after you forever, when you do that which is good and right in the LORD your God’s eyes.
29When the LORD your God cuts off the nations from before you where you go in to dispossess them, and you dispossess them and dwell in their land,
30be careful that you are not ensnared to follow them after they are destroyed from before you, and that you not inquire after their gods, saying, “How do these nations serve their gods? I will do likewise.”
31You shall not do so to the LORD your God; for every abomination to the LORD, which he hates, they have done to their gods; for they even burn their sons and their daughters in the fire to their gods.
32Whatever thing I command you, that you shall observe to do. You shall not add to it, nor take away from it.
