Daniel 7

IM ersten Jahre Belsazzars, des Königs von Babel, hatte Daniel einen Traum, und was er auf seinem Lager vor Augen schaute, ängstigte ihn. Da schrieb er den Traum nieder:

EN el primer año de Belsasar rey de Babilonia, vió Daniel un sueño y visiones de su cabeza en su cama: luego escribió el sueño, y notó la suma de los negocios.

Ich, Daniel, schaute bei Nacht ein Gesicht, und siehe, die vier Winde des Himmels erregten das grosse Meer,

Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea.

und es stiegen vier grosse Tiere aus dem Meere herauf, ein jedes verschieden vom andern.

Y cuatro bestias grandes, diferentes la una de la otra, subían de la mar.

And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another.

Das erste sah aus wie ein Löwe und hatte Adlersflügel. Ich schaute hin, und auf einmal wurden ihm die Flügel ausgerissen, und es wurde von der Erde aufgehoben und wie ein Mensch auf zwei Füsse gestellt, und Menschenverstand ward ihm gegeben.

La primera era como león, y tenía alas de águila. Yo estaba mirando hasta tanto que sus alas fueron arrancadas, y fué quitada de la tierra; y púsose enhiesta sobre los pies á manera de hombre, y fuéle dado corazón de hombre.

The first was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man’s heart was given to it.

Und siehe, ein anderes Tier erschien, ein zweites, das glich einem Bären; es war nur auf einer Seite aufgerichtet und hatte drei Rippen im Maul zwischen den Zähnen, und es ward ihm geboten: Auf, friss viel Fleisch!

Y he aquí otra segunda bestia, semejante á un oso, la cual se puso al un lado, y tenía en su boca tres costillas entre sus dientes; y fuéle dicho así: Levántate, traga carne mucha.

And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh.

“Behold, there was another animal, a second, like a bear. It was raised up on one side, and three ribs were in its mouth between its teeth. They said this to it: ‘Arise! Devour much flesh!’

Darnach schaute ich, und siehe, ein weiteres Tier erschien, das glich einem Panther und hatte vier Vogelflügel an seinen Seiten; auch vier Köpfe hatte das Tier, und Macht ward ihm gegeben.

Después de esto yo miraba, y he aquí otra, semejante á un tigre, y tenía cuatro alas de ave en sus espaldas: tenía también esta bestia cuatro cabezas; y fuéle dada potestad.

After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it.

Darnach schaute ich in den Nachtgesichten, und siehe, ein viertes Tier erschien, furchtbar und schrecklich und überaus stark. Es hatte grosse eiserne Zähne, es frass und zermalmte, und was übrigblieb, zerstampfte es mit den Füssen; es war anders als alle die Tiere vor ihm und hatte zehn Hörner. (a) Da 2:40

Después de esto miraba yo en las visiones de la noche, y he aquí la cuarta bestia, espantosa y terrible, y en grande manera fuerte; la cual tenía unos dientes grandes de hierro: devoraba y desmenuzaba, y las sobras hollaba con sus pies: y era muy diferente de todas las bestias que habían sido antes de ella, y tenía diez cuernos.

After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.

“After this I saw in the night visions, and, behold, there was a fourth animal, awesome, powerful, and exceedingly strong. It had great iron teeth. It devoured and broke in pieces, and stamped the residue with its feet. It was different from all the animals that were before it. It had ten horns.

Und ich gab acht auf die Hörner: siehe, da wuchs zwischen ihnen noch ein kleineres Horn empor, und drei von den ersten Hörnern wurden vor ihm ausgerissen; und siehe, an diesem Horn waren Augen wie Menschenaugen und ein Maul, das redete grosse Dinge.

Estando yo contemplando los cuernos, he aquí que otro cuerno pequeño subía entre ellos, y delante de él fueron arrancados tres cuernos de los primeros; y he aquí, en este cuerno había ojos como ojos de hombre, y una boca que hablaba grandezas.

I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.

Ich schaute: da wurden Throne aufgestellt, und ein Hochbetagter setzte sich nieder. Sein Gewand war weiss wie Schnee, und das Haar seines Hauptes rein wie Wolle; sein Thron war lodernde Flamme und die Räder daran brennendes Feuer.

Estuve mirando hasta que fueron puestas sillas: y un Anciano de grande edad se sentó, cuyo vestido era blanco como la nieve, y el pelo de su cabeza como lana limpia; su silla llama de fuego, sus ruedas fuego ardiente.

I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.

“I watched until thrones were placed, and one who was Ancient of Days sat. His clothing was white as snow, and the hair of his head like pure wool. His throne was fiery flames, and its wheels burning fire.

Ein Feuerstrom ergoss sich und ging von ihm aus. Tausendmal Tausende dienten ihm, zehntausendmal Zehntausende standen vor ihm. Das Gericht setzte sich nieder, und die Bücher wurden aufgetan.

Un río de fuego procedía y salía de delante de él: millares de millares le servían, y millones de millones asistían delante de él: el Juez se sentó, y los libros se abrieron.

A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.

Darnach schaute ich hin ob des Lärms der grossen Worte, die das Horn redete. Ich schaute: da wurde das Tier getötet, sein Leib vernichtet und dem Feuerbrand übergeben.

Yo entonces miraba á causa de la voz de las grandes palabras que hablaba el cuerno; miraba hasta tanto que mataron la bestia, y su cuerpo fué deshecho, y entregado para ser quemado en el fuego.

I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.

“I watched at that time because of the voice of the arrogant words which the horn spoke. I watched even until the animal was slain, and its body destroyed, and it was given to be burned with fire.

Und den andern Tieren ward ihre Macht genommen und ihre Lebensdauer auf Zeit und Stunde bestimmt.

Habían también quitado á las otras bestias su señorío, y les había sido dada prolongación de vida hasta cierto tiempo.

As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.

Ich schaute in den Nachtgesichten, und siehe, mit den Wolken des Himmels kam einer, der einem Menschensohn glich, und gelangte bis zu dem Hochbetagten, und er wurde vor ihn geführt. (a) Hes 1:26; Off 1:13; 14:14

Miraba yo en la visión de la noche, y he aquí en las nubes del cielo como un hijo de hombre que venía, y llegó hasta el Anciano de grande edad, é hiciéronle llegar delante de él.

I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.

Ihm wurde Macht verliehen und Ehre und Reich, dass die Völker aller Nationen und Zungen ihm dienten. Seine Macht ist eine ewige Macht, die niemals vergeht, und nimmer wird sein Reich zerstört. (a) Da 2:44

And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

Darob wurde ich, Daniel, im Geiste bekümmert, und mich ängstigte, was ich vor Augen schaute.

Mi espíritu fué turbado, yo Daniel, en medio de mi cuerpo, y las visiones de mi cabeza me asombraron.

I Daniel was grieved in my spirit in the midst of my body, and the visions of my head troubled me.

“As for me, Daniel, my spirit was grieved within my body, and the visions of my head troubled me.

Da trat ich zu einem von denen, die dastanden, und erbat mir von ihm über all dies sichere Kunde. Und er antwortete mir und liess mich wissen, was die Dinge bedeuteten:

Lleguéme á uno de los que asistían, y preguntéle la verdad acerca de todo esto. Y hablóme, y declaróme la interpretación de las cosas.

I came near unto one of them that stood by, and asked him the truth of all this. So he told me, and made me know the interpretation of the things.

"Diese grossen Tiere, die vier, bedeuten: vier Könige werden erstehen auf Erden,

Estas grandes bestias, las cuales son cuatro, cuatro reyes son, que se levantarán en la tierra.

These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth.

‘These great animals, which are four, are four kings, who will arise out of the earth.

und die Heiligen des Höchsten werden das Reich empfangen, und sie werden das Reich behalten auf immer und ewig."

Después tomarán el reino los santos del Altísimo, y poseerán el reino hasta el siglo, y hasta el siglo de los siglos.

But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.

But the saints of the Most High will receive the kingdom, and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever.’

Darauf begehrte ich sichere Kunde über das vierte Tier zu erfahren, das von allen andern verschieden war, überaus furchtbar, das eiserne Zähne und eherne Klauen hatte, das frass und zermalmte und, was übrigblieb, mit den Füssen zerstampfte,

Entonces tuve deseo de saber la verdad acerca de la cuarta bestia, que tan diferente era de todas las otras, espantosa en gran manera, que tenía dientes de hierro, y sus uñas de metal, que devoraba y desmenuzaba, y las sobras hollaba con sus pies:

Then I would know the truth of the fourth beast, which was diverse from all the others, exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which devoured, brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet;

und über die zehn Hörner auf seinem Kopf und über das andere, das emporwuchs und vor dem drei Hörner ausfielen, das Augen hatte und ein großsprecherisches Maul und grösser anzusehen war als die andern.

Asimismo acerca de los diez cuernos que tenía en su cabeza, y del otro que había subido, de delante del cual habían caído tres: y este mismo cuerno tenía ojos, y boca que hablaba grandezas, y su parecer mayor que el de sus compañeros.

And of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows.

Ich schaute: und jenes Horn führte Krieg mit den Heiligen und überwältigte sie, (a) Off 13:7

Er antwortete also: "Das vierte Tier bedeutet: ein viertes Reich wird auf Erden sein, verschieden von allen andern Reichen; das wird die ganze Erde verschlingen, wird sie zerstampfen, zermalmen.

Dijo así: La cuarta bestia será un cuarto reino en la tierra, el cual será más grande que todos los otros reinos, y á toda la tierra devorará, y la hollará, y la despedazará.

Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.

“So he said, ‘The fourth animal will be a fourth kingdom on earth, which will be different from all the kingdoms, and will devour the whole earth, and will tread it down and break it in pieces.

Die zehn Hörner bedeuten: aus diesem Reiche werden zehn Könige aufstehen, und ein andrer wird aufstehen nach ihnen; der wird verschieden sein von den frühern, und er wird drei Könige stürzen. (a) Off 17:12

Y los diez cuernos significan que de aquel reino se levantarán diez reyes; y tras ellos se levantará otro, el cual será mayor que los primeros, y á tres reyes derribará.

And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.

Er wird Reden wider den Höchsten führen, und die Heiligen des Höchsten wird er quälen und wird trachten, Zeiten und Gesetz zu verändern; und sie werden in seine Gewalt gegeben sein bis auf eine Zeit und (zwei) Zeiten und eine halbe Zeit. (a) Da 12:7

Y hablará palabras contra el Altísimo, y á los santos del Altísimo quebrantará, y pensará en mudar los tiempos y la ley: y entregados serán en su mano hasta tiempo, y tiempos, y el medio de un tiempo.

And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

Dann aber wird das Gericht zusammentreten, und jenem König wird die Macht genommen werden, endgültig zerstört und vernichtet.

Empero se sentará el juez, y quitaránle su señorío, para que sea destruído y arruinado hasta el extremo;

But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.

Und das Reich und die Herrschaft und die Macht über alle Reiche unter dem ganzen Himmel wird dem Volk der Heiligen des Höchsten gegeben werden. Ihr Reich ist ein ewiges Reich, und alle Mächte müssen ihnen dienen und untertan sein."

Y que el reino, y el señorío, y la majestad de los reinos debajo de todo el cielo, sea dado al pueblo de los santos del Altísimo; cuyo reino es reino eterno, y todos los señoríos le servirán y obedecerán.

And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.

Hier endet der Bericht. Mich, Daniel, ängstigten meine Gedanken gar sehr, und mein Antlitz verfärbte sich, und ich behielt die Sache in meinem Sinn.

Hasta aquí fué el fin de la plática. Yo Daniel, mucho me turbaron mis pensamientos, y mi rostro se me mudó: mas guardé en mi corazón el negocio.

Hitherto is the end of the matter. As for me Daniel, my cogitations much troubled me, and my countenance changed in me: but I kept the matter in my heart.

“Here is the end of the matter. As for me, Daniel, my thoughts troubled me greatly, and my face was changed in me; but I kept the matter in my heart.”
