12Nun hab ich vor mich fordern lassen die Klugen und Weisen, daß sie mir diese Schrift lesen und anzeigen sollen, was sie bedeute; und sie können mir nicht sagen, was solches bedeute.

12Por cuanto fué hallado en él mayor espíritu, y ciencia, y entendimiento, interpretando sueños, y declarando preguntas, y deshaciendo dudas, es á saber, en Daniel; al cual el rey puso por nombre Beltsasar. Llámese pues ahora á Daniel, y él mostrará la declaración.

12Forasmuch as an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and shewing of hard sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar: now let Daniel be called, and he will shew the interpretation.
