11"Darum, weil ihr auf den Geringen mit Verachtung schaut, doch Kornabgaben von ihm nehmt, drum sollt ihr, mögt ihr auch aus Quadern Häuser bauen, sie dennoch nie bewohnen und, mögt ihr auch die herrlichsten Weingärten pflanzen, dennoch ihren Wein nicht trinken. -

11Por tanto, pues que vejáis al pobre y recibís de él carga de trigo; edificasteis casas de sillares, mas no las habitaréis; plantasteis hermosas viñas, mas no beberéis el vino de ellas.

11Forasmuch therefore as your treading is upon the poor, and ye take from him burdens of wheat: ye have built houses of hewn stone, but ye shall not dwell in them; ye have planted pleasant vineyards, but ye shall not drink wine of them.

11Therefore, because you trample on the poor and take taxes from him of wheat, you have built houses of cut stone, but you will not dwell in them. You have planted pleasant vineyards, but you shall not drink their wine.
