Amós 2

So spricht der Herr: "Des Frevels Moabs wegen, des drei- und vierfach schändlichen, nehm' ich es nicht zurück, daß die Gebeine eines Edomiterkönigs es zu Tüncherkalk verbrannt.

ASÍ ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Moab, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque quemó los huesos del rey de Idumea hasta tornarlos en cal.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Moab, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime:

The LORD says: “For three transgressions of Moab, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime;

Ich sende Feuer wider Moab, und fressen soll's die Burgen Kerijots. Und Moab stirbt im Schlachtgetümmel, bei Kriegsgeschrei und bei Trompetenschall.

Y meteré fuego en Moab, y consumirá los palacios de Chêrioth: y morirá Moab en alboroto, en estrépito y sonido de trompeta.

But I will send a fire upon Moab, and it shall devour the palaces of Kerioth: and Moab shall die with tumult, with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet:

but I will send a fire on Moab, and it will devour the palaces of Kerioth; and Moab will die with tumult, with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet;

Ich tilge ihm den Herrscher aus der Mitte und würge mit ihm alle seine Fürsten." So spricht der Herr. -

Y quitaré el juez de en medio de él, y mataré con él á todos sus príncipes, dice Jehová.

And I will cut off the judge from the midst thereof, and will slay all the princes thereof with him, saith the LORD.

and I will cut off the judge from among them, and will kill all its princes with him,” says the LORD.

So spricht der Herr. "Des Frevels Judas wegen, des drei- und vierfach schändlichen, nehm' ich es nicht zurück, daß es des Herrn Gesetz verwirft und seine Satzungen nicht hält. Nur ihre Lügen haben sie verführt, die gleichen, denen ihre Väter schon gefolgt.

Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Judá, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque menospreciaron la ley de Jehová, y no guardaron sus ordenanzas; é hiciéronlos errar sus mentiras, en pos de las cuales anduvieron sus padres.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have despised the law of the LORD, and have not kept his commandments, and their lies caused them to err, after the which their fathers have walked:

The LORD says: “For three transgressions of Judah, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because they have rejected the LORD’s law, and have not kept his statutes, and their lies have led them astray, after which their fathers walked;

So sende ich ein Feuer wider Juda, und fressen soll's die Burgen von Jerusalem."

Meteré por tanto fuego en Judá, el cual consumirá los palacios de Jerusalem.

But I will send a fire upon Judah, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem.

So spricht der Herr: "Israels Frevels wegen, des drei- und vierfach schändlichen, nehm' ich es nicht zurück, daß sie Unschuldige um Geld verkaufen und Arme um ein Paar Sandalen.

Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Israel, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque vendieron por dinero al justo, y al pobre por un par de zapatos:

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Israel, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they sold the righteous for silver, and the poor for a pair of shoes;

The LORD says: “For three transgressions of Israel, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because they have sold the righteous for silver, and the needy for a pair of sandals;

Sie, die um Staubes willen nach der Armen Kopfgeld gieren und Dürftiger Steuern höher schrauben, und dabei geht der Mann mit seinem Vater zu üppigem Mahl, um meinen heiligen Namen zu entweihen.

Que anhelan porque haya polvo de tierra sobre la cabeza de los pobres, y tuercen el camino de los humildes: y el hombre y su padre entraron á la misma moza, profanando mi santo nombre.

That pant after the dust of the earth on the head of the poor, and turn aside the way of the meek: and a man and his father will go in unto the same maid, to profane my holy name:

They trample the heads of the poor into the dust of the earth and deny justice to the oppressed. A man and his father use the same maiden, to profane my holy name.

Auf Decken buntgewirkt, so liegen sie zur Seite eines jeglichen Altars und zechen Bier in ihres Gottes Haus.

Y sobre las ropas empeñadas se acuestan junto á cualquier altar; y el vino de los penados beben en la casa de sus dioses.

And they lay themselves down upon clothes laid to pledge by every altar, and they drink the wine of the condemned in the house of their god.

They lay themselves down beside every altar on clothes taken in pledge. In the house of their God they drink the wine of those who have been fined.

Und doch vertilgte ich vor ihnen einst den Amoriter, hochgewachsen wie die Zedern, stark wie Eichen. Ich tilgte oben seine Frucht und unten seine Wurzeln.

Y yo destruí delante de ellos al Amorrheo, cuya altura era como la altura de los cedros, y fuerte como un alcornoque; y destruí su fruto arriba, sus raíces abajo.

Yet destroyed I the Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath.

Ich war es, der euch aus Ägypterland geführt und euch versorgte vierzig Jahre in der Wüste, daß ihr das Amoriterland erobern konntet.

Y yo os hice á vosotros subir de la tierra de Egipto, y os traje por el desierto cuarenta años, para que poseyeseis la tierra del Amorrheo.

Also I brought you up from the land of Egypt, and led you forty years through the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite.

Propheten habe ich für mich erweckt aus euren Söhnen und Nasiräer mir aus euren Jünglingen. Ist dem nicht so, ihr Söhne Israels?" Ein Spruch des Herrn.

Y levanté de vuestros hijos para profetas, y de vuestros mancebos para que fuesen Nazareos. ¿No es esto así, dice Jehová, hijos de Israel?

And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for Nazarites. Is it not even thus, O ye children of Israel? saith the LORD.

I raised up some of your sons for prophets, and some of your young men for Nazirites. Isn’t this true, you children of Israel?” says the LORD.

"Ihr aber gebt den Nasiräern Wein zu trinken, gebietet den Propheten: 'Nimmer dürft ihr prophezeien!'

Mas vosotros disteis de beber vino á los Nazareos; y á los profetas mandasteis, diciendo: No profeticéis.

But ye gave the Nazarites wine to drink; and commanded the prophets, saying, Prophesy not.

“But you gave the Nazirites wine to drink, and commanded the prophets, saying, ‘Don’t prophesy!’

Fürwahr so will ich euch zermalmen auf dem Boden, wie volle Garben ein Dreschwagen zermalmt.

Pues he aquí, yo os apretaré en vuestro lugar, como se aprieta el carro lleno de haces;

Behold, I am pressed under you, as a cart is pressed that is full of sheaves.

Behold, I will crush you in your place, as a cart crushes that is full of grain.

Die Flucht vergeht alsdann dem Schnellen. Nicht fühlt der Starke Kraft in sich; der Krieger weiß sich nicht zu retten.

Y la huída perecerá del ligero, y el fuerte no esforzará su fuerza, ni el valiente librará su vida;

Therefore the flight shall perish from the swift, and the strong shall not strengthen his force, neither shall the mighty deliver himself:

Flight will perish from the swift. The strong won’t strengthen his force. The mighty won’t deliver himself.

Und selbst der Bogenschütze tritt nicht an; nicht rettet sich der schnelle Läufer, und auch der Reitersmann vermag sein Leben nicht zu retten.

Y el que toma el arco no resistirá, ni escapará el ligero de pies, ni el que cabalga en caballo salvará su vida.

Neither shall he stand that handleth the bow; and he that is swift of foot shall not deliver himself: neither shall he that rideth the horse deliver himself.

He who handles the bow won’t stand. He who is swift of foot won’t escape. He who rides the horse won’t deliver himself.

An jenem Tag flieht nackt der Mutigste der Krieger." Ein Spruch des Herrn.

El esforzado entre esforzados huirá desnudo aquel día, dice Jehová.

And he that is courageous among the mighty shall flee away naked in that day, saith the LORD.

He who is courageous among the mighty will flee away naked on that day,” says the LORD.
