Mais un certain homme nommé Ananias, avec Saphira sa femme, vendit une propriété,

Y dijo Pedro: Ananías, ¿por qué ha llenado Satanás tu corazón á que mintieses al Espíritu Santo, y defraudases del precio de la heredad?

But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?

Pendant que tu le gardais, ne restait-il pas à toi ? Et après sa vente, le prix n'était-il pas en ton pouvoir ? Comment as-tu pu concevoir une telle chose dans ton cœur ? Ce n'est pas à des hommes que tu as menti, mais à Dieu. »

Reteniéndola, ¿no se te quedaba á ti? y vendida, ¿no estaba en tu potestad? ¿Por qué pusiste esto en tu corazón? No has mentido á los hombres, sino á Dios.

Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.

While you kept it, didn’t it remain your own? After it was sold, wasn’t it in your power? How is it that you have conceived this thing in your heart? You haven’t lied to men, but to God.”

Ananias, entendant ces mots, tomba et expira. Une grande crainte s'empara de tous ceux qui apprirent ces choses.

Entonces Ananías, oyendo estas palabras, cayó y espiró. Y vino un gran temor sobre todos los que lo oyeron.

And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.

Les jeunes gens se levèrent, l'enveloppèrent, l'emportèrent et l'ensevelirent.

Pierre lui demanda : « Dis-moi, est-ce à un tel prix que vous avez vendu le champ ? » Elle dit : « Oui, c'est pour ce prix-là. »

Entonces Pedro le dijo: Dime: ¿vendisteis en tanto la heredad? Y ella dijo: Sí, en tanto.

And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much.

Peter answered her, “Tell me whether you sold the land for so much.” She said, “Yes, for so much.”

Mais Pierre lui dit : « Comment avez-vous pu vous accorder pour tenter l'Esprit du Seigneur ? Voici, les pieds de ceux qui ont enseveli ton mari sont à la porte, et ils t'emporteront. »

Y Pedro le dijo: ¿Por qué os concertasteis para tentar al Espíritu del Señor? He aquí á la puerta los pies de los que han sepultado á tu marido, y te sacarán.

Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out.

But Peter asked her, “How is it that you have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.”

Elle tomba immédiatement à ses pieds et expira. Les jeunes gens, étant entrés, la trouvèrent morte ; ils l'emportèrent et l'ensevelirent auprès de son mari.

Y luego cayó á los pies de él, y espiró: y entrados los mancebos, la hallaron muerta; y la sacaron, y la sepultaron junto á su marido.

Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband.

She fell down immediately at his feet and died. The young men came in and found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her by her husband.

Une grande crainte s'empara de toute l'assemblée, et de tous ceux qui apprirent ces choses.

Y vino un gran temor en toda la iglesia, y en todos los que oyeron estas cosas.

And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.

Par les mains des apôtres, beaucoup de signes et de prodiges s'accomplissaient parmi le peuple. Ils se tenaient tous d'un commun accord sous le portique de Salomon.

Y por las manos de los apóstoles eran hechos muchos milagros y prodigios en el pueblo; y estaban todos unánimes en el pórtico de Salomón.

De plus en plus de croyants s'ajoutaient au Seigneur, des multitudes d'hommes et de femmes.

On en venait même à porter les malades dans les rues et à les placer sur des lits et des civières, afin que, lorsque Pierre passerait, au moins son ombre puisse couvrir certains d'entre eux.

Tanto que echaban los enfermos por las calles, y los ponían en camas y en lechos, para que viniendo Pedro, á lo menos su sombra tocase á alguno de ellos.

Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.

La multitude accourait aussi des villes voisines de Jérusalem, amenant des malades et des personnes tourmentées par des esprits impurs ; et tous étaient guéris.

There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.

Ils mirent les mains sur les apôtres, et les jetèrent dans la prison publique.

Id, y estando en el templo, hablad al pueblo todas las palabras de esta vida.

Ayant entendu cela, ils entrèrent dans le temple vers le point du jour et se mirent à enseigner. Mais le grand prêtre et ceux qui étaient avec lui arrivèrent, convoquèrent le conseil et tout le sénat des enfants d'Israël, et envoyèrent chercher les apôtres à la prison.

Y oído que hubieron esto, entraron de mañana en el templo, y enseñaban. Entre tanto, viniendo el príncipe de los sacerdotes, y los que eran con él, convocaron el concilio, y á todos los ancianos de los hijos de Israel, y enviaron á la cárcel para que fuesen traídos.

Mais les huissiers qui s'y rendirent ne les trouvèrent pas dans la prison. Ils revinrent et firent leur rapport,

en disant : « Nous avons trouvé la prison soigneusement fermée, et les gardes se tenant devant les portes, mais quand nous avons ouvert, nous n'avons trouvé personne à l'intérieur ! »

Diciendo: Por cierto, la cárcel hemos hallado cerrada con toda seguridad, y los guardas que estaban delante de las puertas; mas cuando abrimos, á nadie hallamos dentro.

Saying, The prison truly found we shut with all safety, and the keepers standing without before the doors: but when we had opened, we found no man within.

“We found the prison shut and locked, and the guards standing before the doors, but when we opened them, we found no one inside!”

Or, quand le grand prêtre, le commandant du temple et les principaux prêtres entendirent ces paroles, ils furent très perplexes à leur sujet, se demandant ce qu'il en adviendrait.

Y cuando oyeron estas palabras el pontífice y el magistrado del templo y los príncipes de los sacerdotes, dudaban en qué vendría á parar aquello.

Now when the high priest and the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard these things, they doubted of them whereunto this would grow.

Quelqu'un vint leur dire : « Voici, les hommes que vous avez mis en prison sont dans le temple, se tenant là et enseignant le peuple. »

Pero viniendo uno, dióles esta noticia: He aquí, los varones que echasteis en la cárcel, están en el templo, y enseñan al pueblo.

Then came one and told them, saying, Behold, the men whom ye put in prison are standing in the temple, and teaching the people.

One came and told them, “Behold, the men whom you put in prison are in the temple, standing and teaching the people.”

Alors le commandant partit avec les huissiers et les amena sans violence, car ils craignaient d'être lapidés par le peuple.

Entonces fué el magistrado con los ministros, y trájolos sin violencia; porque temían del pueblo ser apedreados.

Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned.

Diciendo: ¿No os denunciamos estrechamente, que no enseñaseis en este nombre? y he aquí, habéis llenado á Jerusalem de vuestra doctrina, y queréis echar sobre nosotros la sangre de este hombre.

Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man’s blood upon us.

saying, “Didn’t we strictly command you not to teach in this name? Behold, you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching, and intend to bring this man’s blood on us.”

Mais Pierre et les apôtres répondirent : « Il faut obéir à Dieu plutôt qu'aux hommes.

Y respondiendo Pedro y los apóstoles, dijeron: Es menester obedecer á Dios antes que á los hombres.

Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

Le Dieu de nos pères a ressuscité Jésus, que vous avez tué en le pendant au bois.

Entonces levantándose en el concilio un Fariseo llamado Gamaliel, doctor de la ley, venerable á todo el pueblo, mandó que sacasen fuera un poco á los apóstoles.

Then stood there up one in the council, a Pharisee, named Gamaliel, a doctor of the law, had in reputation among all the people, and commanded to put the apostles forth a little space;

Il leur dit : « Hommes d'Israël, prenez garde à ce que vous allez faire concernant ces hommes.

Y les dijo: Varones Israelitas, mirad por vosotros acerca de estos hombres en lo que habéis de hacer.

And said unto them, Ye men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what ye intend to do as touching these men.

He said to them, “You men of Israel, be careful concerning these men, what you are about to do.

Car, avant ces jours-ci, Theudas s'est levé, prétendant être quelqu'un ; un certain nombre d'hommes, environ quatre cents, se rallièrent à lui. Il fut tué, et tous ceux qui lui obéissaient furent dispersés et réduits à rien.

Porque antes de estos días se levantó Teudas, diciendo que era alguien; al que se agregó un número de hombres como cuatrocientos: el cual fué matado; y todos los que le creyeron fueron dispersos, y reducidos á nada.

For before these days rose up Theudas, boasting himself to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered, and brought to nought.

Après cet homme, Judas le Galiléen s'est levé aux jours du recensement, et a entraîné du peuple à sa suite. Lui aussi a péri, et tous ceux qui lui obéissaient ont été dispersés.

After this man rose up Judas of Galilee in the days of the taxing, and drew away much people after him: he also perished; and all, even as many as obeyed him, were dispersed.

Et maintenant, je vous le dis, éloignez-vous de ces hommes et laissez-les tranquilles. Car si ce dessein ou cette œuvre vient des hommes, elle sera détruite.

Y ahora os digo: Dejaos de estos hombres, y dejadlos; porque si este consejo ó esta obra es de los hombres, se desvanecerá:

And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought:

Now I tell you, withdraw from these men and leave them alone. For if this counsel or this work is of men, it will be overthrown.

Mais si elle vient de Dieu, vous ne pourrez pas la détruire, et vous risqueriez même de vous trouver en train de combattre contre Dieu ! »

Mas si es de Dios, no la podréis deshacer; no seáis tal vez hallados resistiendo á Dios.

But if it be of God, ye can not overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.

But if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow it, and you would be found even to be fighting against God!”

Ils se rangèrent à son avis. Ayant appelé les apôtres, ils les battirent et leur défendirent de parler au nom de Jésus, puis les relâchèrent.

Y convinieron con él: y llamando á los apóstoles, después de azotados, les intimaron que no hablasen en el nombre de Jesús, y soltáronlos.

And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.

Ils se retirèrent donc de la présence du conseil, se réjouissant d'avoir été jugés dignes de subir des outrages pour le nom de Jésus.

Y ellos partieron de delante del concilio, gozosos de que fuesen tenidos por dignos de padecer afrenta por el Nombre.

And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.

Et chaque jour, dans le temple et dans les maisons, ils ne cessaient d'enseigner et de prêcher Jésus, le Christ.

Y todos los días, en el templo y por las casas, no cesaban de enseñar y predicar á Jesucristo.

And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.

Every day, in the temple and at home, they never stopped teaching and preaching Jesus, the Christ.
