25Aussitôt, David bâtit l'autel au Seigneur ; puis, il y offrit des holocaustes et des hosties pacifiques. Salomon embellit plus tard l'autel, qui était d'abord fort petit. Pour le moment, le Seigneur exauça les vœux de la terre, et la peste cessa en Israël.

25And David built there an altar unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. So the LORD was intreated for the land, and the plague was stayed from Israel.
