24Mais le roi repartit : Je n'accepte point, je t'achèterai ce que tu m'offres, moyennant un bon prix ; je ne présenterai point au Seigneur un holocauste qui ne me coûte rien. Et David acheta l'aire avec les bœufs cinquante sicles d'argent.

24And the king said unto Araunah, Nay; but I will surely buy it of thee at a price: neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the LORD my God of that which doth cost me nothing. So David bought the threshingfloor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver.

24The king said to Araunah, “No, but I will most certainly buy it from you for a price. I will not offer burnt offerings to the LORD my God which cost me nothing.” So David bought the threshing floor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver.
