5Steht also nicht mein Haus zu Gott?- Hat er doch einen ewig gültigen Bund mit mir geschlossen,der festgestellt in allem und gesichert ist. -Denn all mein Streben und mein Wünschen,läßt er's denn nicht gelingen?

5Although my house be not so with God; yet he hath made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things, and sure: for this is all my salvation, and all my desire, although he make it not to grow.

5Isn’t my house so with God? Yet he has made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things, and sure, for it is all my salvation and all my desire. Won’t he make it grow?
