12E Davide andò a prendere le ossa di Saul e quelle di Gionathan suo figliuolo presso gli abitanti di Jabes di Galaad, i quali le avean portate via dalla piazza di Beth-Shan, dove i Filistei aveano appesi i cadaveri quando aveano sconfitto Saul sul Ghilboa.

12Entonces David fué, y tomó los huesos de Saúl y los huesos de Jonathán su hijo, de los hombres de Jabes de Galaad, que los habían hurtado de la plaza de Beth-san, donde los habían colgado los Filisteos, cuando deshicieron los Filisteos á Saúl en Gilboa:
