David saß eben zwischen den beiden Thoren. Der Späher aber stieg auf das Dach des Thors gegen die Mauer hin. Als er nun ausschaute, nahm er war, wie ein Mann allein daherlief.

Estaba David á la sazón sentado entre las dos puertas; y el atalaya había ido al terrado de sobre la puerta en el muro, y alzando sus ojos, miró, y vió á uno que corría solo.

And David sat between the two gates: and the watchman went up to the roof over the gate unto the wall, and lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold a man running alone.

Now David was sitting between the two gates; and the watchman went up to the roof of the gate to the wall, and lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, a man running alone.
