12Hizo venir asimismo a Aquitofel, gilonita, consejero de David, de su ciudad de Gilo. Al tiempo, pues, que estaba inmolando las víctimas, se formaba una regia conjuración; e iba creciendo el número de la gente que corría en tropel al partido de Absalón.

12También envió Absalom por Achitophel Gilonita, del consejo de David, á Gilo su ciudad, mientras hacía sus sacrificios. Y la conjuración vino á ser grande, pues se iba aumentando el pueblo con Absalom.

12And Absalom sent for Ahithophel the Gilonite, David’s counsellor, from his city, even from Giloh, while he offered sacrifices. And the conspiracy was strong; for the people increased continually with Absalom.
