Dann aber schickte Absalom zu Joab, um ihn zum Könige zu senden; aber Joab weigerte sich, zu ihm zu kommen. Da schickte er noch ein zweites Mal hin, aber er weigerte sich, zu kommen.

Y mandó Absalom por Joab, para enviarlo al rey; mas no quiso venir á él; ni aunque envió por segunda vez, quiso él venir.

Therefore Absalom sent for Joab, to have sent him to the king; but he would not come to him: and when he sent again the second time, he would not come.
