2schickte Joab nach Thekoa, ließ von dort eine kluge Frau holen und sprach zu ihr: Stelle dich doch trauernd und ziehe Trauerkleider an, salbe dich nicht mit Öl und geberde dich wie eine, die nun schon lange Zeit um einen Verstorbenen trauert.

2Envió Joab á Tecoa, y tomó de allá una mujer astuta, y díjole: Yo te ruego que te enlutes, y te vistas de ropas de luto, y no te unjas con óleo, antes sé como mujer que ha mucho tiempo que trae luto por algún muerto;

2And Joab sent to Tekoah, and fetched thence a wise woman, and said unto her, I pray thee, feign thyself to be a mourner, and put on now mourning apparel, and anoint not thyself with oil, but be as a woman that had a long time mourned for the dead:
