2 Samuel 13

Da sprach der König zu Absalom: "Nicht doch, mein Sohn! Wir wollen nicht alle hingehen, daß wir dir nicht beschwerlich fallen." Da drängte er ihn. Er aber wollte nicht gehen, sondern segnete ihn.

Y respondió el rey á Absalom: No, hijo mío, no vamos todos, porque no te hagamos costa. Y aunque porfió con él, no quiso ir, mas bendíjolo.

And the king said to Absalom, Nay, my son, let us not all now go, lest we be chargeable unto thee. And he pressed him: howbeit he would not go, but blessed him.

The king said to Absalom, “No, my son, let’s not all go, lest we be burdensome to you.” He pressed him; however he would not go, but blessed him.
