Da geschah es, als einer die Axt niederfahren liess, dass ihm das Eisen ins Wasser fiel. Er schrie: O weh, Herr! es ist ja entlehnt!

Y aconteció que derribando uno un árbol, cayósele el hacha en el agua; y dió voces, diciendo: ¡Ah, señor mío, que era emprestada!

But as one was felling a beam, the axe head fell into the water: and he cried, and said, Alas, master! for it was borrowed.

But as one was cutting down a tree, the ax head fell into the water. Then he cried out and said, “Alas, my master! For it was borrowed.”
