8Quando Eliseu, o homem de Deus, soube que o rei de Israel tinha rasgado as suas roupas e não sabia como atender à carta do rei da Síria, mandou um mensageiro com esta mensagem: “Ó rei, não é preciso toda essa aflição. Mande este homem me procurar e ele ficará sabendo que em Israel há um profeta de Deus!”
