1Zu seiner Zeit zog Nebukadnezar, der König von Babel, herauf, und Jojakim wurde ihm untertan drei Jahre lang. Hernach aber fiel er wieder von ihm ab.
2Da liess der Herr die Streifscharen der Chaldäer, der Syrer, der Moabiter und der Ammoniter wider ihn los; er liess sie wider Juda los, um es zu verderben nach dem Worte, das der Herr durch seine Knechte, die Propheten, geredet hatte. (a) 2Kön 20:17; Jer 20:4
3Nur wegen des Zornes des Herrn kam das über Juda, dass er sie von seinem Angesicht hinwegtat um der Sünden Manasses willen für all das, was er getan hatte.
4Auch das Blut der Unschuldigen, das er vergoss, sodass er Jerusalem mit unschuldigem Blute erfüllte, das wollte der Herr nicht vergeben. (a) 2Kön 21:16
5Was sonst noch von Jojakim zu sagen ist, alles, was er getan hat, das steht ja geschrieben in der Chronik der Könige von Juda.
6Und Jojakim legte sich zu seinen Vätern, und sein Sohn Jojachin wurde König an seiner Statt.
7Der König von Ägypten aber rückte nicht mehr aus seinem Lande aus; denn der König von Babel hatte alles erobert, was dem König von Ägypten gehörte, vom Bach Ägyptens bis zum Euphratstrom.
8Achtzehn Jahre alt war Jojachin, als er König wurde, und drei Monate regierte er zu Jerusalem. Seine Mutter hiess Nehustha, die Tochter Elnathans, von Jerusalem.
9Er tat, was dem Herrn missfiel, ganz wie sein Vater getan hatte.
10Zu jener Zeit zogen die Leute Nebukadnezars, des Königs von Babel, gegen Jerusalem heran, und die Stadt wurde belagert.
11Als aber Nebukadnezar, der König von Babel, gegen die Stadt vorging und seine Knechte sie belagerten,
12da ergab sich Jojachin, der König von Juda, dem König von Babel, er samt seiner Mutter, seinen Dienern, Obersten und Kämmerern. So nahm ihn der König von Babel im achten Jahre seiner Regierung gefangen.
13Und er führte alle Schätze des Tempels und die Schätze des königlichen Palastes von dannen und zerschlug alle goldenen Geräte, die Salomo, der König von Israel, im Tempel des Herrn hatte machen lassen - wie der Herr verkündet hatte.
14Und ganz Jerusalem und alle Obersten und wehrfähigen Leute, zehntausend Mann, auch alle Schmiede und Schlosser, führte er gefangen hinweg; niemand blieb zurück als das niedere Landvolk. (a) Jer 24:1
15Und er führte Jojachin nach Babel in die Verbannung; auch die Mutter und die Frauen des Königs sowie seine Kämmerer und die Grossen des Landes brachte er gefangen von Jerusalem nach Babel.
16Auch die wehrfähigen Männer, siebentausend an der Zahl, und die Schmiede und Schlosser, tausend Mann, alles was kriegstüchtig war, führte der König von Babel gefangen nach Babel.
17Und der König von Babel machte Jojachins Oheim Matthanja zum König an seiner Statt und änderte seinen Namen in Zedekia.
1821 Jahre alt war Zedekia, als er König wurde, und elf Jahre regierte er zu Jerusalem. Seine Mutter hiess Hamutal, die Tochter Jeremias, von Libna.
19Er tat, was dem Herrn missfiel, ganz wie Jojakim getan hatte.
20Denn wegen des Zornes des Herrn kam es so weit, dass er Jerusalem und Juda von seinem Angesichte verwarf. ZEDEKIA aber fiel vom König von Babel ab.

1EN su tiempo subió Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia, al cual sirvió Joacim tres años; volvióse luego, y se rebeló contra él.
2Jehová empero envió contra él tropas de Caldeos, y tropas de Siros, y tropas de Moabitas, y tropas de Ammonitas; los cuales envió contra Judá para que la destruyesen, conforme á la palabra de Jehová que había hablado por sus siervos los profetas.
3Ciertamente vino esto contra Judá por dicho de Jehová, para quitarla de su presencia, por los pecados de Manasés, conforme á todo lo que hizo;
4Asimismo por la sangre inocente que derramó, pues hinchió á Jerusalem de sangre inocente: Jehová por tanto, no quiso perdonar.
5Lo demás de los hechos de Joacim, y todas las cosas que hizo, ¿no está escrito en el libro de las crónicas de los reyes de Judá?
6Y durmió Joacim con sus padres, y reinó en su lugar Joachîn su hijo.
7Y nunca más el rey de Egipto salió de su tierra: porque el rey de Babilonia le tomó todo lo que era suyo, desde el río de Egipto hasta el río de Eufrates.
8De dieciocho años era Joachîn cuando comenzó á reinar, y reinó en Jerusalem tres meses. El nombre de su madre fué Neusta hija de Elnathán, de Jerusalem.
9E hizo lo malo en ojos de Jehová, conforme á todas las cosas que había hecho su padre.
10En aquel tiempo subieron los siervos de Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia contra Jerusalem, y la ciudad fué cercada.
11Vino también Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia contra la ciudad, cuando sus siervos la tenían cercada.
12Entonces salió Joachîn rey de Judá al rey de Babilonia, él, y su madre, y sus siervos, y sus príncipes, y sus eunucos: y prendiólo el rey de Babilonia en el octavo año de su reinado.
13Y sacó de allí todos los tesoros de la casa de Jehová, y los tesoros de la casa real, y quebró en piezas todos los vasos de oro que había hecho Salomón rey de Israel en la casa de Jehová, como Jehová había dicho.
14Y llevó en cautiverio á toda Jerusalem, á todos los príncipes, y á todos los hombres valientes, hasta diez mil cautivos, y á todos los oficiales y herreros; que no quedó nadie, excepto los pobres del pueblo de la tierra.
15Asimismo trasportó á Joachîn á Babilonia, y á la madre del rey, y á las mujeres del rey, y á sus eunucos, y á los poderosos de la tierra; cautivos los llevó de Jerusalem á Babilonia.
16A todos los hombre de guerra, que fueron siete mil, y á los oficiales y herreros, que fueron mil, y á todos los valientes para hacer la guerra, llevó cautivos el rey de Babilonia.
17Y el rey de Babilonia puso por rey en lugar de Joachîn á Mathanías su tío, y mudóle el nombre en el de Sedecías.
18De veintiún años era Sedecías cuando comenzó á reinar, y reinó en Jerusalem once años. El nombre de su madre fué Amutal hija de Jeremías, de Libna.
19E hizo lo malo en ojos de Jehová, conforme á todo lo que había hecho Joacim.
20Fué pues la ira de Jehová contra Jerusalem y Judá, hasta que los echó de su presencia. Y Sedecías se rebeló contra el rey de Babilonia.

1In his days Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up, and Jehoiakim became his servant three years: then he turned and rebelled against him.
2And the LORD sent against him bands of the Chaldees, and bands of the Syrians, and bands of the Moabites, and bands of the children of Ammon, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by his servants the prophets.
3Surely at the commandment of the LORD came this upon Judah, to remove them out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did;
4And also for the innocent blood that he shed: for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; which the LORD would not pardon.
5Now the rest of the acts of Jehoiakim, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
6So Jehoiakim slept with his fathers: and Jehoiachin his son reigned in his stead.
7And the king of Egypt came not again any more out of his land: for the king of Babylon had taken from the river of Egypt unto the river Euphrates all that pertained to the king of Egypt.
8Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months. And his mother’s name was Nehushta, the daughter of Elnathan of Jerusalem.
9And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father had done.
10At that time the servants of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up against Jerusalem, and the city was besieged.
11And Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came against the city, and his servants did besiege it.
12And Jehoiachin the king of Judah went out to the king of Babylon, he, and his mother, and his servants, and his princes, and his officers: and the king of Babylon took him in the eighth year of his reign.
13And he carried out thence all the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king’s house, and cut in pieces all the vessels of gold which Solomon king of Israel had made in the temple of the LORD, as the LORD had said.
14And he carried away all Jerusalem, and all the princes, and all the mighty men of valour, even ten thousand captives, and all the craftsmen and smiths: none remained, save the poorest sort of the people of the land.
15And he carried away Jehoiachin to Babylon, and the king’s mother, and the king’s wives, and his officers, and the mighty of the land, those carried he into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon.
16And all the men of might, even seven thousand, and craftsmen and smiths a thousand, all that were strong and apt for war, even them the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon.
17And the king of Babylon made Mattaniah his father’s brother king in his stead, and changed his name to Zedekiah.
18Zedekiah was twenty and one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Hamutal, the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.
19And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, according to all that Jehoiakim had done.
20For through the anger of the LORD it came to pass in Jerusalem and Judah, until he had cast them out from his presence, that Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.

1In his days Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up, and Jehoiakim became his servant for three years. Then he turned and rebelled against him.
2The LORD sent against him bands of the Chaldeans, bands of the Syrians, bands of the Moabites, and bands of the children of Ammon, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the LORD’s word which he spoke by his servants the prophets.
3Surely at the commandment of the LORD this came on Judah, to remove them out of his sight for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did,
4and also for the innocent blood that he shed; for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, and the LORD would not pardon.

13He carried out from there all the treasures of the LORD’s house and the treasures of the king’s house, and cut in pieces all the vessels of gold which Solomon king of Israel had made in the LORD’s temple, as the LORD had said.
14He carried away all Jerusalem, and all the princes, and all the mighty men of valor, even ten thousand captives, and all the craftsmen and the smiths. No one remained except the poorest people of the land.
15He carried away Jehoiachin to Babylon, with the king’s mother, the king’s wives, his officers, and the chief men of the land. He carried them into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon.
16All the men of might, even seven thousand, and the craftsmen and the smiths one thousand, all of them strong and fit for war, even them the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon.
