8Und er ließ alle Priester aus den Städten Judas kommen und verunreinigte die Opferhöhen, woselbst die Priester geräuchert hatten, von Geba an bis nach Beerseba. Auch brach er die Höhen der Bocksgestalten ab, die am Eingange des Thores des Stadthauptmanns Josua standen, welches dem, der ins Thor der Stadt eintritt, zur Linken liegt.

8E hizo venir todos los sacerdotes de las ciudades de Judá, y profanó los altos donde los sacerdotes quemaban perfumes, desde Gabaa hasta Beer-seba; y derribó los altares de las puertas que estaban á la entrada de la puerta de Josué, gobernador de la ciudad, que estaban á la mano izquierda, á la puerta de la ciudad.

8And he brought all the priests out of the cities of Judah, and defiled the high places where the priests had burned incense, from Geba to Beer-sheba, and brake down the high places of the gates that were in the entering in of the gate of Joshua the governor of the city, which were on a man’s left hand at the gate of the city.
