23L'Eternel redevint bienveillant à leur égard et, les prenant en pitié, se tourna vers eux à cause de son alliance avec Abraham, Isaac et Jacob; car il ne voulut pas les détruire, et jusqu'à présent il ne les a jamais repoussés loin de lui.
