16Da ging alles Volk des Landes in die Kirche Baals und brachen seine Altäre ab und zerbrachen seine Bildnisse recht wohl; und Mathan, den Priester Baals, erwürgeten sie vor den Altären. Der Priester aber bestellete die Ämter im Hause des HERRN.
