9Josias estabeleceu um sistema de recolher donativos para o templo. A prata era recolhida nas portas do templo do Senhor pelos levitas que estavam de serviço ali e levada ao sumo sacerdote Hilquias para a contagem. As ofertas eram trazidas pelas pessoas que vinham de Manassés, de Efraim e de outras partes remanescentes de Israel, bem como do povo de Judá e de Benjamim e dos habitantes de Jerusalém.

9Los cuales vinieron á Hilcías, gran sacerdote, y dieron el dinero que había sido metido en la casa de Jehová, que los Levitas que guardaban la puerta habían recogido de mano de Manasés y de Ephraim y de todas las reliquias de Israel, y de todo Judá y Benjamín, habiéndose después vuelto á Jerusalem.

9And when they came to Hilkiah the high priest, they delivered the money that was brought into the house of God, which the Levites that kept the doors had gathered of the hand of Manasseh and Ephraim, and of all the remnant of Israel, and of all Judah and Benjamin; and they returned to Jerusalem.
