15Auch liess er in Jerusalem kunstvoll ausgedachte Maschinen anfertigen, die auf den Türmen und Zinnen aufgestellt wurden, um mit Pfeilen und grossen Steinen zu schiessen. So drang sein Ruhm bis in weite Ferne; denn er erfuhr wunderbare Hilfe, bis dass er sehr mächtig war.
