15Da entbrannte der Zorn des Herrn gegen Amasjahu, und er sandte einen Propheten zu ihm. Dieser sprach zu ihm: "Warum hast du eines Volkes Götter aufgesucht, die ihr Volk nicht aus deiner Hand gerettet haben?"

15Wherefore the anger of the LORD was kindled against Amaziah, and he sent unto him a prophet, which said unto him, Why hast thou sought after the gods of the people, which could not deliver their own people out of thine hand?

15Therefore the LORD’s anger burned against Amaziah, and he sent to him a prophet who said to him, “Why have you sought after the gods of the people, which have not delivered their own people out of your hand?”
