18So verließen sie denn das Haus des HERRN, des Gottes ihrer Väter, und verehrten die Standbilder der Aschera und die Götzenbilder. Da brach der Zorn Gottes über Juda und Jerusalem infolge dieser ihrer Verschuldung herein.

18And they left the house of the LORD God of their fathers, and served groves and idols: and wrath came upon Judah and Jerusalem for this their trespass.
